We’ve seen enough corruption in this city. That’s why I have a plan to Stop the Corruption and bring honesty back to NYC government. I'll always lead with integrity. landerfornyc.com/public-integ...

It’s like if you had a whole business built on a plugin for Photoshop that made sure when you exported images that red stayed red, rather than turning turquoise.

"I think people who are in charge of writing regulations for a Department of the Government should have applicable higher learning experience."

Really enjoying listening to @reckless.bsky.social push Verizon CEO Sowmyanarayan Sampath and not letting him weasel out of answering what “working with the administration” means when it comes to net neutrality vs Brendan Carr censorship and coercion. Sampath really doesn’t come out looking good!

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Government actors who are confident in the legality and moral righteousness of their cause don't hide their faces!

It is frustrating to work to achieve the American Dream when you see the people who are already ahead cheating in broad daylight. People want things to be fair, or at least seem fair! It's good leadership to point and say "Hey, that's not fair. Put us in power, and we'll punish it!"

Trump take egg. Trump take 401k. Trump take cancer cures. Trump give insider trading. Trump give bank fees. Trump give measles.

Great stuff we're doing here

I'm calling for an investigation into whether President Trump manipulated the market to benefit his Wall Street donors—all while working people and small businesses paid the price. Did Trump help insiders cash in on his tariff flip-flopping? It sure looks like corruption.

Three House Republicans. Four Senate Republicans. That's it. That's the math.

it’s been fascinating to see the tariff/stock market crash outs. dawg they’re been disappearing students, letting kids die of preventable diseases, sending random people to violent prisons and making it illegal to acknowledge historic Black people. idk what to tell you 😭

Excited for all the new American banana and coffee factories.

Actually they don’t, because that’s now how political communications work. Because reporters are going to equate two things that aren’t remotely proportional whether there’s explaining or not!

People should print these out and go to GOP town halls and go "I don't know graphs, is this good?"

"If my dryer doesn't send me a notification to tell me my clothes are dry, I might not pack for my trip" is wild.

This just flatly isn’t what they said. They said it’s a good idea, but it needs to happen faster otherwise people lose faith. You are pointlessly arguing for a politics that takes decades to deliver in a world where people are accustomed to speed. Slow stuff doesn’t get rewarded!

“Memes are powerful, and so is the surveillance state.”

Working with an interdisciplinary team, we have developed a website to communicate how the White House's proposed cuts to health research would cause losses of $16B and 68,500 jobs. Find out how your community may be impacted. Explore more at SCIMaP: scienceimpacts.org a 🧵

Can you spot this pedestrian? 👀 When cars are parked right next to the intersection, drivers can't see people crossing the street. This is a dangerous — even deadly — problem. The good news is we can fix this, with Councilmember Julie Won's Universal Daylighting bill, Intro 1138!

There should be a tax for churches and non-profits who hold assets (particularly land) with value beyond a certain threshold.

I'm pretty sympathetic to a lot of Mark's argument, but as a young man myself, I don't think we need to continually bail out people who make aggressively risky financial decisions that have no real-world value.

18 U.S.C. § 793(f) makes it a federal crime to for people entrusted with information related to the national defense to, with gross negligence, disclose it to others in violation of that trust.

Mind boggling to me how much better Canva's background removal/object selection tool is than Photoshop's. Especially for stuff like hair or fuzzy sweaters. You don't get any of that "glow" effect on light or complex backgrounds.

Young people are less attached to parties & thus more swept up in thermostatic backlash & the economic nature of the times. We wrongly interpret that as ideological trends previewing future young voters. But future young voters will be more impressionable during a new environment
