Kobe to sign Erik on an emergency loan transfer from Machida Zelvia. Think some of those Kobe injuries are long-term ones. Scored 18 times when Machida were promoted in 2023, more limited last year, just the 3. Good signing for Kobe though.

Bit of a surprise this morning with Kota Yamada (山田 康太) leaving Gamba to sign for Yokohama FC. From Gamba "It was determined that he had caused trouble to others through inappropriate use of social media." - I'm not sure what that inappropriate use of social media was. Does anyone? #ガンバ大阪 #Gamba

Not sure if the keeper should do better with this or not. Shusaku Nishikawa seems to be wrong footed expecting the shot to be whipped into the near post. What I will say is that it's a great switch of play by Yoshio Koizumi and it's a super feint and shot by Tomoya Koyamatsu.

Something needs to happen at Sapporo. Since their relegation, they've played three J2 games, have scored 0 goals and conceded 7. Sagan Tosu are winless too. Poor from the two relegated teams. Jubilo the only relegated team to be going well so far.

Was a great game of football to watch. Both teams had periods of dominance. Svend Brodersen was excellent for Okayama, saved the penalty and made some key late saves too. Sumiyoshi the pick of the outfield players for Shimizu. Shared point is probably fair. Lot of fans unhappy with the grass.

First game of the day for me and really looking forward to this one. Takashi Kiyama electing to start Lucao on the bench and still no Capixaba for Shimizu, which is a shame as he started the season really well. Can't call this one but should be a great game.

Just to outline the injury issues, 17 year old Kento Hamasaki came off the bench today. Kobe don't really release any information on injuries, so we'll need to see if any players return against Avispa at the weekend.

Daiju Sasaki rescues a point at the death and I mean the death, think we were in the 100th minute of the game and it came moments after a Yuya Osako goal was ruled out for offside. A few thoughts on that game. To come back and get a point showed incredible resilience. Severely undermanned. (1/3)

Being named captain has not impacted him at all. In fact, 2 games, 2 goals, 2 wins for Shonan. His captaincy couldn't have started any better. I'd back Akito Suzuki to make an impact in Europe at some point.

Outstanding win at Carrow Road this afternoon. Sometimes it just clicks and all of a sudden we're extremely difficult to play against. Scored 4, should have scored 2 more, could have scored 2 more than that. When we play between the lines at speed it's beautiful to watch #NCFC
