there are people in our system who don't feel and/or don't mind any cold at all and I am clearly not one of them

the electric showers are WEAK, we don't usually need to heat up the shower water, in summer I can't even shower in the daytime, only at night because the water naturally comes in too hot, but in the winter? the water feels like it's coming in at -20°C and the electric shower does jack shit

I mean that the people you're complaining about probably don't know this

"mental disorders" aren't all one single category of thing, they are completely unrelated phenomena, personality disorders are a mechanism entirely different from neurologic disorders and could 100% be headmate-specific

I guess you could say, that is very, queer

Went to Wiktionary to find what queer was like in Old English, expecting cƿēꞃ (cwer) or something and got þƿeꞃh (thwerh)

not very suited for most things (I saw a video where someone made a knife out of bismuth and it couldn't cut tomatoes, it was being cut by the tomatoes) but it does look really pretty, could easily be a legendary jewelry or a magic item

Titanium is super difficult to get, Beryllium is super difficult to get. Both are super cool and useful. I am going to have an alloy of the two with the most badass name playing a big role in my story

it would be plausible for it to be Argon since it's an abundant inert gas, but it would also be plausible to be just air

Just the name Argon is already so awesome and catchy to me.
Also gas stations here have "Ar" written in the air pumps that fill tires and I still don't know if that's just ar (local word for air in general) or the atomic symbol of Argon

it is also a constituent part of emeralds. fantasy settings could obtain Beryllium exclusively by snelting down emeralds, imagine how precious it would be.
I should stop giving ideas I plan to use in my story

did you know Beryllium, the rarest metal, is light as wood, invisible to x-rays and also black? not dark grey. shiny black.
It is the only pre-iron metal not produced by stars, it is only produced by radioactive carbon atoms decaying into becoming it, thus the incredible rarity

it is also harder than steel iirc, but also brittle. it shatters rather than bending, but it can be alloyed with other metals to increase malleability, usually aluminium, but that also makes it heavier

make up a fictional alloy of real, rarely used metals, it's much more interesting than an implausible new element

Here are your daily tasks.

Yes, those are tasks you do every day, but not one of the daily tasks."
"Okay, you need to just cut my head off just below where it hurts. Which is all of it."
