Not saying this hypothetical scenario will happen at all. Just thinking about how extreme trump, likely goaded by miller could go. Hoping that our military's 250 year tradition of swearing an oath to the Constitution would prevail. Are we prepared for any similar such event?

Mike Johnson has not shown any interest in the US Constitution, or any laws derived from it. In this hypothetical scenario, triggered by megalomania from trump, even with the army upholding the Constitution, how would we get back to a semblance of a functioning democracy?...

Thinking it through, the follow-on would have to be removing him from office, along with Vance and the cabinet by military force to protect the Constitution. Then what? Mike Johnson becomes president? What changes? We already have a corrupt SCOTUS, and a non-functioning House of Representatives...

Trump does not write the laws. No court is going to uphold that. At least while we have a semblance of a government, Trump's real power ends at the executive branch, not the states, not the private sector. We must not forget that.
