For all his faults, it’s just bonkers to me that Biden isn’t widely acknowledged as the best President on progressive policy of the last half century.

I remember thinking before law school that originalism didn't make sense to me yet, but maybe I'd learn the internal logic and learn how to make good originalist arguments when needed. Instead it just looked more and more ridiculous the more I learned.

I just wonder how many NATO members make concrete plans on what to do in the event they are *attacked* by the United States in the next four years.

How far are we from the remaining NATO members having to decide what to do in case the US attacks one of their members?

I'll take even odds that the administration eventually decides to buy the same amount of food that USAID purchased, pile it high, and light it on fire. Same benefit to US agribusiness with the added benefit that more foreigners starve.

Ken, have you heard of anyone setting up a mailing list or something to connect attorneys looking to get some pro bono hours with all of the various orgs that are going to need support over the next few years as various people and groups come under attack?

It'd be a real shame if someone programmed an AI to generate hundreds of thousands of hallucinated reports regarding nonexistent agencies.

Sticking it to a company by moving from somewhere their product is unavailable to somewhere purchase of their product is mandatory.

That’s . . . the optimal outcome from those companies’ perspective?

I have one that can't really meet the standards for a joke about fraud or breach of contract or defamation or IIED or trespass to chattels, so I'm gonna just call it a RICO joke.

By the time I deleted my X account and moved over here my feed was so clogged with Onlyfans and crypto shill content, the prevalence of white supremacist and other far-right content was almost a second-order concern.

I'd be for an effort to get a federal bill through if there wasn't a 100% chance of a Trump veto.
