I've got a good feeling about this bank of mysterious fog moving against the wind to blanket our isolated small town.

DOCTOR'S OFFICE QUESTIONNAIRE 1) How often do you think the phrase "that'll put the cats amongst the pigeons"? A - once a day B - once an hour C - only once a week D - I am unable to think in terms of words

I got to be friends with David Lynch when we were both at Universal years ago. A very kind man, he was a fan of Bob's Big Boy. So was I. I'm going to miss him. R.I.P. David.

Q: what do you fear most? A: the possibility that love is not enough

nobody has ever designed an aesthetic cooler than this one and we made a terrible mistake ever moving past it

i just want to say, in the strongest possible terms, that going back to older SFF and reading it is a really fucking good idea that everyone should do there's so much really good readable stuff especially after ~1965-70, it deserves to be read and remembered, it adds so much richness to the genre

tv seasons should be 22 episodes long and at least 30% of those should be pure crap

something that I just learned is that the Drifters' lead singer died the day before they recorded Under The Boardwalk. and instead of canceling the recording session, they just switched to a different singer so, that's wild. also, how the fuck are people not talking about that constantly

I understand that new users are excited, but please remember to respect the longtime hoagieheads who built this community up from nothing before you start spamming the forum with stale Dagwood memes

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ate here before embarking on a quest. Enjoyable rustic ambience, the fiddle player’s mournful tune foreshadowing our journey was a nice touch. The innkeeper’s daughter served us warm crusty bread with bits of cheese & sausage. Will definitely return to illustrate how much has changed within me.

the funniest fucking thing just happened at work i can't really say what happened or explain why it was funny, but just trust me, i laughed a bunch

Pipe-weed aka Morgoth’s Lettuce

it's crazy how... let's say lukewarm about the malazan books i am, when you look at the concepts and it's all awesome shit like this (yes, for better or worse my brain works in such a way that i think this rules)
