People, do me a favor, if you’re waiting to see if I’ll pass your unhinged constant purity testing, just block/mute me now. Save us both the time and trouble. Thanks. If you can hang with an openly gay, left wing, atheist, who doesn’t always/automatically get everything right the first time, hi. 👋🏻

🧵Additionally, “Don’t talk about sex, money, religion, or politics.”, is not the full/actual phrase. Much like how people misred/misuse, “The customer is always right.”, when the full actual phrase is, “The customer is always right, in matters of taste.”

Definitely not me with a pint of Ben & Jerry”s…

People who follow me with very impressive pedigrees, I hope you’re not expecting much more than a high school diploma and a little bit of sharp wit.

I genuinely don’t know what kind of person you have to be in this country anymore, to be celebrated. I mean, if Jackie Robinson isn’t good enough of an American figure for you, then who is?

There’s so many good visual artists in my discover feed, I’m so jealousssssss… *turns into a tiny green snake* lol

Hey D.C. Power Players, please do yourselves a favor and take some public speaking classes when the chance arrives. I cannot express how disappointing it is to learn some of our leaders don’t have the mental bandwidth or stamina to do a 5 minute presser on TV.

Wild to come across users with “resist” in their name/tags just typing out pure defeatism/fatalism.

The alt-right sure do know how to kill a good clean meme.

When I was younger, I told my Mom and Sister that I wanted to be a “Kermit” when I grew up. I meant “hermit”. Needless to say, they still remind me of that faux pas.

Looks like D.E.I. to me…

Video games are special to each of us for different reasons. Some of us were lonely, isolated, and had trouble making friends as kids. We were "different". Video games gave us a feeling that we almost never got to have; A feeling of control. And we finally got to feel what it was like to 𝘸𝘪𝘯.

My copy of, The Dark Quarter, arrived yesterday. I’m super excited for the new addition to my tabletop game collection, but then I must cull another game or two.

Yes, I am quite possibly the only millennial in the entire world who managed to miss, “The Pokémon Craze”, boat. Congratulations, you found me, and no, I am not interested in learning about Pokémon. I am far too old now and more importantly, far too poor to delve into the insanity of it all.

FWIW; Anytime I like something, it doesn’t necessarily mean I genuinely like it or even agree with it. It receives a like because it had enough depth and weight that it got me thinking, talking, replying, or even quoting.

Technically, it’s not a mini-game as it is necessary to retrieve all the triforce pieces, the fishing in LoZ: The Wind Waker is great. I’ll happily take more of that kind of fishing in games, please and thank you.

Here’s an idea that I think will help grow Bluesky. Leave those, “I’m this… You’re that… Therefore, we are not the same.”, toxic AF blurbs for, “The Other Place”.

Knowing human beings are vastly filled with tiny microplastics is great news for my simulation theory.

Just randomly remembering one snarky Reddit moderator who said my issue about a litter box could’ve been easily resolved with Google… This whole subreddit could’ve been, “a Google”.

Same emotion, but different games. - Cuphead - Darkest Dungeon 1 - Minecraft - Rogue Legacy 1 & 2 - Slay the Spire On the side, I would definitely buy Balatro, Deep Sky Derelicts, Disco Elysium, and Hades again.

This is the moment where I understand why a lot of my friends are either apolitical or non-political. It really is just another form of self-care.

I consider myself tech savvy, but the amount of times I’ve landscaped myself out of portrait right into a screen refresh this week, has been rather depressing.

I’m not sure what it is, but I haven’t been this excited about The Oscars in a while. Maybe it’s Conan hosting, maybe it’s because I’ve watched a good number of this year’s nominees, idk. I’m hoping for a return of “Walker, Texas Ranger Roulette” in some form.

Okay, so here’s the deal. I still have Facebook for two reasons. One, I’m the admin of a group for gay men in Alabama. Two, a group chat with my IRL friends. If anyone here has any ideas or strategy on how to get a bunch of people from two vastly different groups to stay together, I’m all ears.

I never know what proper protocol is regarding profile pictures. I’m playing Disco Elysium and this picture is the version of Harry I’m currently rocking so, yeah. I’m promoting people play Disco Elysium, I can’t say enough good things about the game.

Add, “The Rock” to your list and I’m in.

This is not, “The Other Place”, so this is not a “tweet”. What is it called then? A “flutter”? A “ripple”? An “effect”? What?

One thing I cannot stand about social media feeds, is how content just gets served to you without reason or explanation.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about athletes getting exposure and making bank, but maybe a sponsorship from McDonalds is not in the best interest.

May I just say, as an openly gay man and new Bluesky user, I sure am glad the female sex bot accounts are alive and doing well here.
