Proud Canadian. I love gardening, reading, cooking. Dark sense of humour for an old lady. Favourite joke: What do you get when you cross an agnostic, an insomniac and a dyslexic?
Someone who lies awake all night, wondering if there really IS a dog.

This is so stupid. Do your damn jobs and stop posturing. It’s not high school and you’re not prom king.

If Canada Post opened my packages they’d question my taste in reading material. That’s about it.

I disagree. I don’t know why you think the way that you do, and I’m not interested in finding out, to be honest. You have a good day.

I was stunned at the stupidity of this. It's like PP saying, 'I lost the election AND my seat', and the NDP saying, 'Hold my beer.'

Nope. I'm afraid that people will let their own agendas derail what's best for the country.

I don't think it's worth engaging, so I just block. It's disheartening to see partisan politics in Canada. I really think the NDP was flexing - trying to stay relevant, maybe? I'd be livid if we were headed into another election!

I think it was just a flex. 'Just' a flex - I'm so sick of this kind of crap. Look at me - I'm a big boy!

Whew, it's ok. What the hell is wrong with the NDP?

Our three year old grandson singing 'welcome to my shop, let me cut your mop' makes me think we're doing ok by him.

Trust me - a microwaved hotdog is better than scrambled eggs with a whole tin of mushrooms. Mushroom juice included. Mmmm - Happy Mother's Day!

yes, but it won't happen because it requires depth and introspection. So there's that.

Look at that face! What's not to trust? It's like when you pick a reptile as a pet and think it will never bite you.

What is the point of the coffee cup? To prove that he drinks coffee, just like the little people? Or to suggest that imaginary coffee is good, because no caffeine?

I'm in BC. Two of my kids are firefighters. We no longer wonder 'if' they will be deployed to fight wildfires, we wonder 'how long'. It's hard on everyone. I have such respect for the people who do that dangerous, difficult work.

I have no problem with tax exemption for charitable organizations. I'm willing to bet that most churches spend more on admin and salaries than they do on outreach. Time to do away with an outdated policy, in my opinion.
