Yesterday was the 82nd anniversary of the death of Sophie Scholl. She and others were executed for internal resistance to the Third Reich. They are an example to us. Learn from their example, especially in these times. #WhiteRose #WeißeRose www.nationalww2museum.org/war/articles...

I’m thinking we should all start being a bit more allusional in our writing. Be like Hemingway and let folks discover the “iceberg” beneath our words. But I might have over-explained this idea in my blog post about the negative space in writing: bit.ly/413qgPD Thoughts? #WritingCommunity

I keep adding stuff to my October blog post "The 5 Benefits of a Content Audit." This go-round, I added a section about aligning content with your organization's accessibility and sustainability goals. What else am I missing?!! dkconsultingcolorado.com/2024/10/31/t... #contentaudits

Excellent point from Erin here. The WCAG 2.1 guidelines offer a good checklist for online content accessibility. The DoJ’s April 2024 ruling (if it stands) makes these guidelines mandatory for online gov’t content, including content created by contractors. ALT text is just one piece. #accessibility
