I'm sure most folk understand the mixup so an addendum should suffice

Quite. Unfortunately it's 'Mission Accomplished' for the UK press so it's not in their interests to follow up. Only niche media is, admireably, doing so ATM and it's so hard for them to break through

Over a decade ago... I've heard about the waitlist and can't justify the private cost so ATM I'm stuck wishing I could access meds. I'll try and get onto the list again but previously gave up after GP said 'you're too old for it to make a difference' 🤬

Thank you. I was surprised by question 12. In my early career I got into trouble for leaving meetings at my 'time to go home' time more than once... Until I learned of the weird expectations of maintaining a career. In the grey on all but two q's. Autistic so UK NHS would not assess for ADHD 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Quite. In Streeting's Notional Health Service (sic) we can expect that they'll ( there may potentially be more than one) receive all inclusive next day health services, an Alton Towers FastPass and a splash of their 'tragic' story across all of the right-wing rags... For having cut their hair short

Technically they've not removed access to CYP either... But they've put so many obstacles in the way to make access impossible in practice. They may choose to do the same for adults. I fear for those without the means to protect themselves from this direction of travel via alternative sources

Please link to the RCGP guidance you've referenced, thanks

When religion and state power merge, the religion itself becomes transformed from a matter of personal conscience and conviction into an instrument of control. We're deeply concerned about increasing evangelism in the White House and the effect this has on the UK.

Their definition of harmful includes persisting in being trans

To be clear I mean reviewing not as a result of test results but merely asking puts you on their radar for refusal of ongoing, and necessary, medication

A 'bonus fear' is that if you ask for the annual recommended blood tests , that you may have had done for years, it will trigger them not only refusing the tests but also 'reviewing' the prescription

I doubt that their 'thought leaders' believe that the law was changed in that way but it serves their purposes to pretend that it has been. They like to draw in the uninformed masses and this angle supports their 'protecting women's spaces' lies

Has the NHS reinstated the adult guidance notes that they immediately removed when Streeting ordered the block on CYP changing numbers?

Trans is an adjective, like short. So you'd say short woman, trans woman etc. The contraction is used by gender conservatives to imply a different category to woman rather than a subset of women

This statement is actually favourable to the alleged perp. as it gives the impression that there are more NCAA trans athletes than there actually are ('less than 10' was stated, often lazily rounded up to 10 in reports). The 'phobes don't care anyways

Yep, they'll refer to someone 17 years and 364 days old as a child to maintain that misdirection

Gender Exploratory 'Therapy' is what's being applied. "We'll repeatedly question you to find out what we can blame for your 'gender distress' (being trans not included), for however many years that may take or you age out and/or you give up any hope for you future'. They've pathologised being trans

GET is what's being applied to any trans kids who access the NHS. "We'll repeatedly question you to find out what we can blame your 'gender distress' (being trans not included), for however many years that may take and/or you give up any hope for your future'. They've pathologised being trans

Thank you so much for these threads of analysis. Very valuable to our understanding. The links to actual research papers contrasts with the propaganda within the Sex Matters ( Sullivan) Review
