If I had to lose my 22lbs of menopause weight all over again, this is what I’d do: • Get 7-9 hours sleep a night • Strength train for 45mins, 3 x week • Eat at least 100g protein daily • Drink at least 2.5 ltrs water daily • Prioritise gut health • Stop watching/reading the news

Not going to lie… I’m struggling with BlueSky. I can see many of you are thriving here, but I’m not feeling it. Definitely more of an Insta/Tiktok girl 🤷🏻‍♀️

F1 2024 is finally over! Ferrari SOON!

If you need a sign that someone is rooting for you… This is it. Life is tough, but you’re tougher. You’ve got this.

Want to get started in the gym but have no idea where to start? Here’s what to do ⬇️ Find a qualified gym instructor on the gym floor and ask them to get you started. If they’re not interested in helping you? Find another gym. Your health is precious, so go find somewhere that recognises that.

Nothing makes me laugh harder than seeing a cat in a commercial, knowing they probably did countless retakes just to get a half-decent one. Meanwhile the cat’s like ‘whatever, I keep eating your [insert product] anyway…’ 😼

I’m borderline obsessed with Sir Lewis and how he continues to overcome setbacks. Actually, not borderline at all…

Beginning a new week with a sense of dread was my norm for too many years. Now I start my Monday strong, knowing that the week will throw me a few curve balls, But I’m in charge of how I feel. End of. And I get to help other amazing women do the same 👌🏻

Can’t do a push-up? Try dropping your knees to the floor, and push up from there - keep your back straight. Still too tough? Push up from a bench/ low chair (still from the knees) Still no can do? ⬇️ cont’d…

Exercising will get easier if you do it every day. But you have to do it every day. That’s why it’s hard.

They used to say “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”… But the truth is this: * Nothing feels as good as a strong body * At the age of 61 I’ve tried both, and this is a hill I’m prepared to die on.

Had the best time in York yesterday celebrating OH’s birthday. It’s a city I could never tire of, full of charm and atmosphere. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it ❤️

Hello, gorgeous people! 👋🏻 I’m Debs, I’m a 61 year old personal trainer who helps women over 50 find their strength. We may have ‘met’ when I was involved with social media… what can I say? The call of the gym and tonnes of protein won the day 😉 I rarely read the news and I drink a lot of tea 🙌🏻

‘I stand by my original statement: we ARE never gonna survive unless we get a little crazy.’

Is it really happening… is X finally collapsing? I’m torn between dancing a jig and mourning the loss of something that once was fabulous.

Why do I keep doing this? All I want is pre-2010 Twitter back.
