So this was the target of the 1st year of playing FAB, I hope this is is only the beginning! Next target, going day 2 to a bigger competition!

Fun fact: we had a booking at a Michelin star restaurants at 7pm, and I wasn’t expecting to go that far… my girlfriend showed up to the semi final to support me and then we both arrived late to the booking! (We managed to get some food if you were wondering, so a day full of success!)

Tried to pivot to Viserai on the two previous CC RTN and went 3-3 to both. The lack of experience and knowledge on the deck cost me some losses. Getting back to my beloved Aurora was the right choice for the last shot!

Well I am still hoping to pull a kiss of death EA or any marvel hero, looking for a sign from the game to whom I should play

Head judge asked if cards were placed at the same time (Yes) or in two different time (attack then d-react). Opponent lied in front of me saying I played them in two different actions.
Anyway Head judge, followed the 1st judge called and rolled back to Defense.
So Justice was made (hoorah)

I defended a 5 power attack (3rd fealty on hit for Feng) with a 3 block card as well as a blue d-react, short cutting the reaction phase.
However, the blue d-react can be played only on attacks with 3 less base.
1st judge said, rollback to defense phase. Opponent appealed.

- Marking on opponent turn is strong
- Fealty without conditions is amazingly strong.
- Equipments is really really important, a full suite gives you a strong advantage
I love this game, even more, set after set, and this event was what I am looking, competition, fun, gambling, skill, and friends!

Few learnings now for the sealed deck building:
- Feng requires approx. 8 blues, and 10+ Draconic AR / instants
- Cindra is looking for approx. 7 blues and lot of draconic go again
- Arakni is more about 10 blues and 3-4 traps is the minimum

I also faced one opponent who called Judge on an illegal play on my side, lying to the head judge in order to get a notably advantage in the game. So I had mixed feeling on the BH due to this interaction.
Overall week-end was great, enjoying Prague, and opening packs with the Friends!

Stubborned and pumped with results, tried the BH on Sunday... Went 1-3, not the same experience, built Arakni, deck wasn't great, but decided to play Fatigue. However, I lost all tosses, and met people with great power cards in their decks.

Regarding the Calling, my goal was to earn a positive amount of ELO points, which I did, played Feng, and ended up 4-3, +71 ELO. Enjoyed every bit of it, and met great opponents!

We did 3 sealed the first day, in order to try all characters, and be ready for the next day Calling. It was physically and mentally difficult, we went back to flat at 10pm. Next time, I believe dropping the last one was the right call.
But god, discovering the new mechanics in live is amazing!

Amazing call! I was considering playing Ira for RTN due to the previsible power of the new cards, instead of keeping the game healthy, and I do prefer to have the choice to play a proper flesh and blood season, thank you guys for being reactive!

I believe around 25€ in few months, and more around 40€ during the first weeks, let’s see if it worth the price!

Same! All the same, except maybe falling in love with a hero, sadly. And I’ll add, seeing friends performing (choco, iron, Paris)

Damn, sad news! You were one of the only podcast I am listening related to FAB. And I know that a lot around me are listening too :(
