I had a sleep study done, but that wasn't as conclusive as having to log my experience over 2 or 3 years to my doctor. Trying to work out, eating specific foods, avoiding certain things, and none of it worked. So that was the conclusion to them. It was blamed on my work shift and anxiety.

I used to work 7pm to 7am in the military, and there are many days that I barely remember the entire shift. Just zombie mode all day long. It makes it very difficult to conform to a stereotypical work schedule, even if it's not a 12-hour shift.

Rude.

I do not.

I've tried so hard to commit to a hard schedule for streaming, but after having a study done and doing some thinking on my past experience with sleep, I've never been able to commit to such a thing. Add it to the pile of stuff πŸ˜… Feel free to message me if you feel alone at 3am!

I'm also a #military veteran, serving in the #AirForce from 2010 to 2014. Now, I am a humbled and proud father of 2, stay-at-home dad and supporter of my Castle. 🏰 I'm a strong #MentalHealth advocate, as I, myself, have dealt with various hurdles within my own, unique mental health challenges.

I am a proud representative of #Extra-Life, a charity that supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (going on my 14th year). I'm a #HumbleBundle Partner, a website that offers bundles of games, software, and ebooks at unbeatable prices. Plus, a portion of every purchase goes toward charity.

So many of us have just not belonged in this country, sadly. We don't identify with the level of lies, corruption, and greed. Should have started working on citizenship a long time ago. The future looks scary and uncertain. I just hope our children will make it out alive and healthy.

Given our history, you'd think it would. Have we not experienced enough racism at this point to not all equally be disgusted by the concept of treating someone different because of nebulous concepts like skin tone or cultural differences? It's insane to me that racism is still alive and well.

We're on the same side, yet you want to push potential allies away for the sake of your emotions. Rightful emotions, mind you. But you're letting it control your decision-making. Again, do better.

Especially if you didn't vote for the person in office??? Doesn't really make sense, and I don't think you're that dense of a person. I just think you're angry and lashing out at the wrong people.
comment in response to post
You're enveloped by anger and fail to see that you're still lumping all Americans together. I didn't vote for him. I *despise* him. Yet you continue to treat every American the same. Would it be fair if I held you accountable to every wrong choice your government makes?
comment in response to post
You're very talented at it, haha! Probably a safe bet πŸ˜…

That's a valid concern. Not only because of my hatred for the current administration, but I wouldn't doubt that I would be lumped in with that group of people with my own mental health issues. Sad years ahead for America. I only hope some sort of power steps in before it's too late...

I think many of us have, sadly. I want to love my country, but it's been many, many years since I've felt that level of pride.
comment in response to post
Maybe their blind to the logic out of pure rage, and therein lies a beautiful lesson of not making decisions when you're enveloped in a state of anger.
comment in response to post
I get the sentiment, ya know? I hate the decisions of the current leadership, as well as every American that supports it. But I'm not about to arrogantly bunch every person together and blame them when it's common sense that not everyone chose this. I don't get how this idea escapes them.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for Canada, and I've generally felt more like a Canadian due to the close proximity of living near Sault Ste. Marie. Your hatred is blanketed and misguided, and frankly, it is extremely disappointing. Do better.
comment in response to post
Once again, you're lumping myself with every American. That is not fair in the least bit, and if you had an ounce of logic to add to this conversation, you'd realize it's wrong. I've lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the majority of my life, visiting Canada regularly. 1

It's hard for me to avoid it. I'm not even confrontational by nature, and I generally try to find peace these days. But some opinions that I find toxic are just too hard to keep my mouth shut. I wish I could, but it feels almost involuntary.
comment in response to post
Agreed. I can understand the uncertainty that looms with taking in mass amounts of people from another country, ya know? Especially when the leaders of that country are seeking to affect your own (tariffs/invasion). But there's many of us who are actively fighting back and don't support any of it.

The on-point sarcasm got me for a second, hahaha! This is so accurate 🀣
comment in response to post
It's apparently easier to just blanket opinion all of us, rather than take the time to realize that there's many (most, in my opinion... #stolen) who actively don't support this and are speaking out against it in the ways that we are capable.
comment in response to post
Exactly. I'm trying to make sense of the hoops you'd need to jump through in order to come to the conclusion that since Trump won, every American voted for him and is equally guilty. I guess it's easier to have that thought process than to actually take the time to distinguish between the two?
comment in response to post
That was EXACTLY my thought. Take this same verbiage and make it about Palestinians, and it would be reminiscent of what all the Trump supporters have been saying since the start of that war.
comment in response to post
Right? I'm surprised that they can claim how virtuous they are and, yet, turn around to put us all on the same pedestal as Trump supporters. It's completely contradictory. You don't want immigrants from the U.S., fine. But don't claim to care about those who didn't want this and voted against it.
comment in response to post
And you've proven my point again, and I've already stated that my family DID NOT VOTE for Sunkist Stalin. Yet your sympathy is gone for those who didn't contribute to him winning, equal to those who did. How is that fair? I don't need to put words in your mouth. You've made your point.

Especially considering our son is trans and very well could be on the "chopping block" if things progress. Incredibly passive and insensitive, but thank you for the narrow-minded input. πŸ‘

Interesting perspective. You acknowledge that I don't support what's currently happening but don't care for the livelihood of those who had no part in this outcome. Disappointing.

I didn't vote for him... But sure, lump all of us together. That's always gone well in history. πŸ™ƒ

Agreed. Haven't been out to eat in almost 2 years now. Can't afford it, and that *includes* the tip.

Living in a tourist town, there's not much for options. I agree, we should just be paid a livable wage, but we can't control that, unfortunately.
comment in response to post
Living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the majority of my life, I already feel more Canadian than I do American. And this is coming from someone who served in the U.S. military during the Obama administration.

It’s disheartening to witness public servants repeatedly go to extreme lengths to accommodate what appears to be a modern-day equivalent of a Nazi regime... At this point, they are clearly in support of the agenda and must be treated as such.

BG3 isn't one of those, but I'm really getting tired of seeing so many of my most treasured MMORPG's being turned into an instant-gratification, surge toward endgame in the shortest window of time possible, Fortnite-esq casual-spree. Where did "The Journey" disappear to?
comment in response to post
"Done well and worth my time" should be the motto for every dev, and that's part of the problem. But I'm honestly not a fan of catering to those who aren't able to put more time in, no offense at all. We're seeing an industry riddled with lazy development and lacking content for a $70 price tag.
comment in response to post
It's truly an asinine aspect to the game itself. Regardless of additional "fluff" that potentially creates another 50-hour gameloop. Why would you ask for less? It's bizarre and unwarranted in the current climate of gaming, in which we see lazy development and lack of content *constantly*.
