I'm more convinced than ever that the Seattle Mariners will win the AL West and the AL pennant in 2025. The best teams in the AL are mediocre. Seattle is about to improve dramatically just by getting pitchers off the IL.

With the Raleigh extension, where is the window for the Mariners post-season hopes? Without any extensions for starters Seattle has THREE years. Then one starter hits Free Agency each season. Leverage arms in the pen are controlled longer. Three seasons isn't a lot, having wasted the last two.

Why would they care? It is "chump change" to them. We are the chumps allowing them to amass wealth without having to work. The wealth oligarchs have amassed has been earned by those working for them. They just skim of the top before paying the workers.
