The reason the USPS can do what it does at a fraction of the cost of public sector competitors is because the USPS isn’t run for profit. It doesn’t have shareholders who expect dividends. It doesn’t have a CEO and too many executives to overpay so they can buy yachts. It’s run by civil servants.
