I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

A lil render

i don’t care if he is ruining peoples lives he is the greatest artist of our time and should be allowed to do whatever must be done

We need a leftist Andrew Tate. We need a leftist Fox News. We need a casino where you don't gamble and they give you free money. I refuse to understand the ecosystem I'm in the center of and I will not leave or modify my behavior. We need leftist McNuggets

the jobs of the future, where you will be a hereditary serf producing goods for your betters

rate my setup

All I keep thinking about is that if/when Dems regain power, every action to restore normality or basic functioning of governmental institutions will be covered by the national press like it’s a controversial, partisan power play on par with a coup.

This has always been the GOP's strategy: 1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves. 2) Explode the deficit. 3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions. 4) Repeat. They're trying to get away with it again.

Am I depressed because of what's happening or am I depressed because of the people who somehow didn't see it coming? Both. It's both.

Every day there is some limp dimwit I have never heard of in my life. Everyone I respect hates him. He has two hundred million followers.

“not all republicans” YES ALL REPUBLICANS. THEY LOVE TRUMP. THEY LOVE WHAT’S HAPPENING. YOU NEED TO DIRECTLY CHALLENGE ALL OF THEM CONSTANTLY. THERE’S NOT A SINGLE GOOD REPUBLICAN ALIVE

thanks to rising interest rates we are now living in a golden age for getting tearful email notifications about bankruptcies for apps you installed once 3 years ago and totally forgot about

effective altruism is the funniest philosophical movement possible. a justification to get as rich as possible at anyone else's expense under the premise that you will give it away "later" in a way to "do the most good" as judged by a guy who got preposterously rich at everyone else's expense.

I'll vote for anybody who bans these things
