The chaos at GSA has caused architecture firms to close offices. Historic preservation has been disrupted by funding holds and review delays. It appears that 2021 Infrastructure law funded projects are still moving, but Inflation Reduction Act investments in manufacturing and tech are dead or dying.

By the way, not a single federal troop is doing anything to "protect federal agents" right now. They are confined to the federal building and have not left that area. They are not doing any patrols or ride-alongs. They are sitting around, with $134 million from your taxes paying for it.

The 500 owned historic buildings are also at great risk at GSA, due to drastic cuts to the historic preservation staff.

GSA architecture and engineering staff will also be reduced to a total of 5. This group includes the teams who manage the agency's vast art collection and 500+ historic buildings.

“The mass firing of GSA staff and the potential sale of federal courthouses are not merely routine administrative changes. These developments could meaningfully hinder the ability of the federal judiciary to operate.”

I asked GSA where the "$1M" figure came from, but until I hear differently I assume from Elon's ass
