Good luck with that. Current news is crisis only or perceived crisis only!

It does where I come from in NC. When I use it out here in SoCal everyone immediately asks "where are you from in the South?" I love it! And love sobriety. It's one of the best things I can pass on to others in our community...love, support, trust, understanding & sobriety.

This is on Miller, Bondi & Noem, too. They are nothing more than ass kissing sycophants in Elon’s puppet’s US power grab & leading the charge. And Congress is sitting on their hands & letting the puppet take control. Dems got no teeth, GOP got no spine.

Notice she's worried about regulating AI, not stripping people of health insurance or food.

I believe that MTG, like several other GOP Reps that have spoken up like her, is lying. I think she & others are trying to dampen the outrage they know is coming when their constituents feel the pain this bill will eventually cause them.

I disagree. If stupidity is considered patriotic, that is exactly when intelligence needs to step up and be heard.

I've believe it's a balancing act. You have to embrace life to get & stay sober, but to get & stay sober you have to navigate the realities of your life, which can be extremely difficult early in sobriety. Living sober is facing hard truths & rebuilding trust with others & especially with yourself.

Oh, I wish there was something I could say that would sound like America's government cares, but right now I don't think it does. Dems got no teeth, GOP got no spine.

But calling Bondi a lying, hypocritical bitch is OK? Just asking...not sure of the rules.

Talking to the choir, God. You need to go to Washington, D.C. Won't do you much good, but that's where you need to spread the message.

I do not have the words to adequately express my disgust for the lies and hypocrisy pushed by Rubio and every other member of Elon's puppet's administration.

Happy Friday! I've got to admit, though, being retired has completely changed the meaning of "happy Friday" for me. Now instead of the signal for the coming weekend, no work and sleeping in, it is the signal for the coming weekend and I can walk my dog without dodging as much traffic.

I have to wonder over the last 4.5 billion yrs how many times this sentiment was expressed by a life form on Earth that ended up destroying itself...and how many times over the next 1.3 billions years it will be asked again?

This is a joke, right? I mean, really, who in their right mind would believe this crap? Oh yeah, I forget who the audience is...carry on.

I think JW's analysis for his suspect survey results is wrong. I read the numbers as 52% would be fine with BlueSky, 8% would not and 40% would not bother to follow Jarrett Walker. Blaming his unpopularity on BlueSky...sheesh.

One thing I always tell new members in our meetings is be honest with friends and family, build a support group you trust and do NOT be afraid to lean on them. That has helped me more over time than many of the tools I've learned about.

They can't help but lie. Seems it is a required skill to be part of this administration.

I stopped after a headline came out about a month before the election basically saying that during one of Elon's puppet's rant & lie fueled rallies he offered "a different vision for America" than Harris. That was going too far to normalize Elon's puppet & I've not read or watch CNN since.

I think I'll wait for a ransom demand. But I have a feeling the demand will come from the hostage in the form of "No, really I'm fine."

Hi. I’m on a journey to stay sober. My main support outside of family and friends is Smart Recovery. Would love to join your tribe.

I’m not holding my breath the Dems will take back the House or Senate. They did not show up for Kamala, why would I expect them to show up in the mid-terms?

No shit. You just figuring this out? It’s been months in the making.

If Elon's puppet & the Congressional GOP get their way courts will not be able to hold the puppet or his admin officials in contempt rendering the legal system useless. The GOP says no-one is above the law but in reality they just want everyone but themselves to have to obey the laws.

I'm not holding my breath they will ever be held accountable. Elon's puppet and his cohorts seem to always skate.
comment in response to

Well, until the SCOTUS steps up (and the cowards likely won't) and forces Elon's puppet to act nothing is going to happen. I would hazard to guess Elon's puppet's admin doesn't even have Garcia in their rear view mirror any longer.

But it only sucks to Dems. GOPers don't know it sucks to be them because they enjoy what they are doing: destroying years of work to make us stronger, healthier & a world leader, & taking from middle-class/poor to ensure those who don't need or want have even more. Dems have no teeth, GOP no spine.
comment in response to

It has nothing to do with us seeing the issue. It has everything to do with Congress writing tax laws/income tax codes that favor the uber rich & campaign finance laws that enable the uber rich to buy elections so they get the favorable tax laws/codes so they don't have to pay their share of taxes.

What she got was inside information for stock trades that netted her a couple million dollars. I’m sure she’ll add to that significantly before she extracts her head from Elon’s puppet’s ass and writes her fairytale book about her time as AG which will detail her spectacular accomplishments.
comment in response to

Sad to think what our politicians focus on; helping those who donate over those in need. I have no illusions the GOP will give Elon’s puppet the budget he wants stealing from the middle-class and poor to give to the rich. The Congressional Dems have no teeth and the Congressional GOP no spine.

You’re wasting your time. Eric does not have the brain power to comprehend or process the fact his father is one of the least loyal people alive today.

Why are they weighing in “cautiously?” They should be screaming at the top of their lungs. But we know where the unmovable loyalty of at least 4 of the justices lay.

Why even give this moron any attention? Let him sit in his ignorance and prejudice alone. We know that he & millions like him are out there. No need to be reminded. I see their stupidity every time I read anything regarding Elon’s orange puppet.
comment in response to

The problem isn't only the math and the statement. We who aren't MAGA expect Elon's puppet's puppets to exaggerate and lie. The problem is the millions of MAGA minions that will believe the BS and to continue to follow and support these asshats.

The story I read was it was Jared, at Elon's puppet's request to find an economic advisor, who did his research ch by scanning book titles from different economists and thought Peter's book had the best title.
