Not a plant person, but our raspberries thrive on lots of sunlight and neglect. Is there somewhere you can move it where it will get less shade?

Some birds tried building a nest on our porch light. Made a mess but they almost made one before the wind knocked it down so we put some sticks up to add more shelf. They made the nest then immediately lost it to a bluejay. Still, there were baby birds and the nest builders and jays still around.

Iirc pcpartpicker will let you know the power draw of the machine you are building and suggest compatible psu’s.

I forgot about the easy access to the dino hatchery when 3 people (in a row made for 10+) push on the cross bar. That is before even considering how a crossbar that would keep me in a seat would allow any lanky teen free roaming. Someone was definitely going to steal a raptor or t-rex baby.

No locks on the doors is just asking for some kid to get killed by an electric fence designed to discourage dinosaurs. Especially considering how close to the fences the suvs they use go.

Friends of mine work for a university. A state one in a solid blue state. The employee unions pushed for the school to use the emergency funds to help with costs/jobs/etc. they were told “that’s for a real emergency, like if an asteroid hit.” Global Pandemic? Not a real emergency.

They flat out say they want you imagining you are the character and make decisions you yourself might not make. Not that there are a ton of “decisions” to make but most puzzles have at least 3 solutions for the various classes.

So this is player facing? Or just for you?

The erosion of places to exist in public without needing to have a commercial agenda or pay a fee is really sad. And likely a part of the increased pervasive loneliness plaguing so much of society.

Gotta love a man who can pull off thigh highs! Beautiful art. Love the colors!

Fully agreed on all of this, and I think it is part of the addage "if you like something, never join the fandom." Can see it in myself and others in a lot of things where at times I'm wondering if I'm consuming a different piece of media with the same name.

And I don't mean you can't enjoy those stories. I *love* Star Wars Rebels. I *love* Andor. However, the "big secret" reveal that in the prison they were making parts of the Death Star is...just a waste, but they feel obligated because it's between Ep 3 and 4.

Also, when thinking about what the epilogue covers, and about Star Wars, what exactly is the obsession with needing to fill in *ALL* the details between two known/set points? Like, do we really need all the stories between Ep 3 and Ep 4 to know about what happened? Same for the gap from RDR2 to RDR1

So, the opposite of writing where you can dismantle and rebuild at the end?

No nuclear timer, but there were other cowpokes. It ended up being a brief story so back to "normal" cow poking.

Never understood why you wouldnt want your employee as comfortable as possible to help them do their best work. Not to mention the obvious messaging of “we value you and want you to succeed here.”

You'd think I'd have gotten those down in College but not so much. So I have what I feel is a high school/college level of grammar, and like a toddler's vocabulary and ability to read/write.

And I doubt DUO is going to change that. Nor do I think it is necessarily really working for me. So I think I need to find a different way of practicing/learning my Japanese going forward.
Really what I think I need is a method that works for me to learn the grade 1-6 kanji.

This in turn incentivizes me to do reviews when I'm in a rush and don't want the DUO owl to murder my family. It also makes the lessons feel "lesser" and like I'm not supposed to be doing them because they're 2-3 times the length, more difficult, and offer less points which creates a feel bad moment

My friend was hoping that would be how legion worked back in the day. Just another survivor until you put on the mask. It is a super cool concept. It would be cool to see.

I just wish “through” wasnt like pushing an arrow the rest of the way through your torso to get it out.

Honestly, all 5 are great. The only change I'd make is make #3 into #1 or #5 so you start or end with the reminder that their fun as the GM matters too.

Considering Alti is a college of sword bards I'd think she'd be quite adept at "cut this into small but equal sized pieces." So that's probably the safest job for her. Unless she grabs the potatoes with the rotten spots and doesn't cut them out (but that's easily trained in like 30 seconds)

And now that I'm thinking about it, why doesn't every house staff have several bards on hand to inspire the cooks/guards/etc. You could save a fortune, or really reinforce a high point of your estate pretty easily.

Only if the bowl comes with a certified chain of custody so I know Alti didn't cook it, but was merely present/supervising while the other cooks worked ;)
