'Why this is bad for Harris....'

Oh I don't doubt that one iota. My naive hope would be that anyone in their right mind would choose not to live in a state with expensive and lacking medical care. I realize some people would be trapped. So it's more of an emotional feeling than a well thought out solution. Vote blue!

Heh. OK. The family is documented and come with working papers, correct? Should be able to get them on their feet pretty quickly. Heck, I could use the help with fall leaves and other work around the house in the meantime. [That is, Leon PAC, your boy would be a far worse outcome.]

Then perhaps said doctors should move out of Texas and to a state where they can actually honor their Hippocratic Oath.

Counter point, voting has already begun and turn out has been higher than expected. Not much room for chnging minds. Sending a popular ex. pres. as a surrogate keeps the focus on older MI voters rather than being perceived as taking the "blue wall" for granted, which is part of what did in Hillary.

I don't buy it. He's not a favorite by any real measure. Wapo aggregates 71 polls. TFG is only favored in four since Biden dropped out. Harris crosses 90% confidence in 5 and TFG 0. There's been no trend towards TFG. I get the "don't be complacent" and steel yourself for the worst. But I dn't see it

"Here's your check, now we'll just get a photo...." The hell you say. I'm not your prop. Give the check and GTFO. Tell anyone you gave it to me and I'll have you giving me even more. BTW: Harris 2024! Bitches!

Yep, no way this could backfire in unpredictable ways. "Hey Bert, look! I just got me a million dollar check! Sure sucks you didn't get one. Want to take a ride in my new truck?" From what I've read, lottery winnings turn out to be not so good for winners amongst friends and family.

Well sure. But you know that 5th circuit judge will simply recus....... Bwahaha! I just can't finish, I just can't 🤣🤣🤣 But you know, being two legal minds, they know it's not right to discuss this at home, so at least he'll have a cleared eye'd look... Damn! did it again!!🤣🤣🤣

Never ask the question (or make the assertion) if you don't know the answer.

I might even work, if he were president. He tried that last time and we know how it worked out for his team. His Jr Varsity lawyers probably aren't up to the task and I don't think Biden will stand around with his hands in his pockets if obvious shenanigans are afoot; even up to the SC level.

Unfortunately, in real life, lines have to be drawn and defended. Social, territorial, what have you. Peace is absent of conflict. Want peace, just give into every whim of others; sell out your beliefs, allies, families no matter how absurd the ask and you'll have the peace you're advocating.

Most don't need to see the fine details of her policies to know that they would never vote for TFG. A well educated, successful woman over a felonious, unserious grifter is more than I need to know. If something in her policy statement might sway you to TFG, I don't know what to say. Snob indeed.

Jeebus! As of last night, it was slated to be cat. 2-3 on Wednesday. It went full cat. 5 overnight!? After originating off the eastern coast of Mexico? Climate change is going to lead to re-writing of all assumptions.

I don't know that there's any fine details "abt her campaign" that are consequential. If you haven't been paying attention since 2016, and such minueta would sway you to vote for the alternative choice, be careful what you ask for madi, you just might get more than you bargained for.

They're not afraid of breaking with the party. They're afraid of their own constituents all going "Hang Mike Pence" on them if they go against der Gropenfurer. They know the monster that they helped create and they don't want to cross it now that it's rampaging across the countryside

RoS is the only SW film I haven't seen or bothered with on any level. As soon as it was learned that the emperor was back, that alone was a big "nope." Up there with James Bond: Spectre. After all this time, they pulled that Blofeld was JB's half brother or whatever? Lazy dolts.

Yep! I turned on french subtitles in "A Plague Tale" and my ear has gotten MUCH better.

First, I love the nerdology discussion. But to continue....that's many tons of momentum behind him and he shoved his legs right into railroad ties that have connects and ballast. He should have been folded in half like paper. If he's that tough, no one is going to physically beat him to death.

Personally, I never understood why Spiderman was pulling a Superman move. Kinda kills a lot of the need for spider powers if he is nigh on indestructible. How did King Pin kill him in Miles Morales if he can take out railroad ties?

What is with that laundry room? For one, all the beach items. For another, those machines look to be half-size miniatures. Is this a laundry room dedicated solely for kids usage? Weird.

Yep. By most accounts he was a nightmare on set. Fun fact, he's the one who opened the gym floor which dunked George and Mary in "It's a Wonderful Life."

If I read it right, 1) a felon in possession of a weapon and 2) having a weapon with obliterated serial number.

So, now we're supposed to be upset that someone actually does homework and puts in the time and effort needed for success? That's literally the gig. Get good people, listen to their advice, and follow a plan. Hang out at the golf course at your own peril.

No doubt. I recall this back during the Bush - Gore election, IIRC. It was as cringe then as now. You're not voting for a wizard who will wave their magic wand. You're voting for someone who will run an effective, and hopefully boring, administration. Hint, one of the two doesn't even want the job.

Heh, the beauty of living in an insignificant state. My vote doesn't matter so no one calls us and we only see ads when watching network television. We did make sure the kids are registered in their school's states where it makes a real difference. (and yes, we vote in all elections)

Apropos of nothing, in the second incarnation of the Muppets (I think Jim Henson's son did it, it was much more racy as I recall). They had the count walking around backstage, carrying a fish and kissing it. Someone asked, what's that? And the reply was, 'Oh, that's our blood sucking bass kisser'.

Your "genuine nonrhetorical clarifying question" is vague AF. What one issue? Unless their intent is to pressure her to the right to be more like TFG's stance, then why would anyone threaten to not vote or vote for TFG when his administration would be objectively WORSE for this imaginary cause?

That's my take; a lead character with skills that they did not earn or should not have. Ironically, Luke Skywalker always struck me as the prototypical Mary Sue. Farm boy one day. What? three days later can out shoot soldiers who trained with their weapons for years and ace X-Wing pilot.

Whereas TFG and his GQP enablers can rot for all I care, the true perpetrator is "Moscow" Mitch McConnell. TFG just did whatever the loudest sycophant told him to do. MMM had a long term plan in action for YEARS to stack the courts. Not sad to see him go, from govt. or this planet.
