Canada and Denmark (read Greenland) resolved the Whisky War peacefully. It took 49 years. With the threat of tariffs in 2025, our provincial politicians have proven themselves ready to stop bourbon from flowing. We have lots of Canadian-made whisky or whiskey, spelling depends on who makes it.

rewatching Star Trek Disco S2 E1 Brother, whoa! what a masterclass in leadership! Pike is simply amazing at taking command, and introducing himself. the emotional intelligence displayed by Pike here is inspirational. i think this is my fave starting point for an introduction to Star Trek.
