we can designate him Colonist One to Mars. while he's leaving, we can make Bezos and Zuckerberg Colonists Two and Three. They can return to Earth if they make it to their 100th birthday or their net wealth dips below 1billion.

On your way from the Acadian Peninsula, stop in Miramichi for Middle Island, Beaubear's Island, Wilson's Point and the Metepenagiag Heritage Park. We are the meeting spot of history & culture for four peoples: Irish, Acadian, Scottish, and Mi'kmaq. You will want to plan an afternoon at Metepenagiag

and if really want a New Brunswick experience, find your way to the Acadian Peninsula by driving north along the Acadian Coast. Caraquet is the Capital of l'Acadie. You will also find the Acadian Village, a historical recreation of the life of the Acadians.

While you're at it, stop at Potato World, in the French Fry Capital of the world. You could do both in an afternoon in your way to a night's stay in Fredericton. There, go see the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

for self-care reasons, I had avoided video coverage of the day. once i saw the video of Elmu, yes, that is definitely a Nazi Salute. not surprising from one born into the ruling class in South Africa in 1971. still not acceptable, but not surprising.

Just because a president can sign an Executive Order, it doesn't mean that the president is on the right side of history.
Read 'First They Came' to self-reflect on the need to stand up and be a voice. And while you are at it, find out who was targeted by the first book burning in 1933 Germany.

The dream of Martin Luther King Jr has turned into a nightmare.
Read 'I have a dream' to see the hope of MLK, on this day honouring him.

love that new characters are introduced and the first red shirt introduced isn't the first to die in a mission. and those colour-coded EV-suits are so cool. Can I sign up for the Federation to get one of these?

we need to Emperor Georgiou and Mistress of the Winter Constellations after the decision makers. and they/we can install you as the new leader of the Syndicate in charge of merch. i trust that you would give us better merch.

i haven't seen the merch. my response is solely based in your description of it. the merch sounds like stuff that come from a Mistress of the Winter Constellations movie. that said, i would also expect more leather with that too.

even if you aren't convinced that it is the 'best ever', i would venture to say that you will be pleased with it.

and it would amazing to have Scott, Todd and Jerry in a room to hash out the best time travelling show of all time. they have to defend their show in their Star Trek character.

as one who has watched all three in broadcast time, not streaming or binging from start to finish, so no complete watch of any of them, but enough to get a good sense, i concur with Captain Shaw/Theodore Deacon. 12 Monkeys holds its own in the genre.

this is helpful. knowing that there are different paths to leftism is helpful for people. i came similarly to leftism. i deconstructed my religious upbringing. and through doing community work with others, i became a leftist. it was about praxis for me and not theory.

it seems that the energy that these celebrities put out into the world has returned on them. and unfortunately a whole lot of others are caught in the crossfire. it's tough to extend sympathy for celebrities who yell and scream at people for pointing out their shortcomings.

great idea! are you familiar with @pendantaudio.bsky.social? it is owned by trans creator and writer @tillybridges.bsky.social and her wife (also writing partner) @susanlbridges.bsky.social. i can vouch for the Tilly Trans Tuesday podcast, as I have listened to it. I assume the rest is terrific too.
