uh huh! AuDHD, autigender transbian. sapphic, trixic, leaning neptunic. Open to polyamory but definitely demisexual. 2SLGBTQIA+ self-descriptor i like most is queer. I think I cover this all saying 'queer, demisexual autigender demigirl' or 'queer demigirl AuDHDity living thon best grey-ace life'

a late self-discovery is valid, and represents the recognition that we have always been autistic, even as we didn't have the language to describe our experience.

i join with you in your wish for Harmony to return (fingers 🀞 toes too). Being able to see diversity modeled & to live in harmony is such a gift. i love that you have a positive memory from your growth beyond the four walls of the churched world. i have a similar experience of being raised in church

it was at one particular festival (which is not taking place now) that i explored expressions of my authentic identity. those expressions spilled over into the rest of my involvements, which flowed into the rest of my life. I am living in my fullest authenticity because of that safe (third) place.

yes. i have a local coffee shop that does this for me. i also volunteer at a lot of music festivals in my area, so i do have a rotating third place in that regard.

Protecting the status quo for their long term job security is the abdication of the Party by the consultant class.

i also don't see DOGE going after that budget.

i hated the call centre more than i hated retail. not allowed to hang, not allowed to acknowledge friends or acquaintances that happened to get my line from the queue. at least in retail, i could acknowledge people i knew.

...to CBC. best use of CBC was a few years back when we, in the Maritimes, were being pummelled by a hurricane. CBC scrambled an emergency live broadcast hosted by Jeff Douglas, yes the Jeff Douglas of I Am Canadian fame. No commercial network would ever do that.

in my rural New Brunswick community, i cannot get recently released Top 40 music. We have three English radio stations, 1. 80s/90s music, 2. country music, and 3. Christian radio station. CBC is available and if you have a good FM receiver, you can get CBC Music. CBC Listen app is key to listening..

I totally get the desire to stick it to SpaceX and Starlink, but what is the replacement option? Is Doug Ford going to put up satellites to develop the infrastructure 'in rural, remote and northern communities across the province where ground-based fibre connections are not feasible.' (3/3)

...including in rural, remote and northern communities across the province where ground-based fibre connections are not feasible.'(2/3). This is who is affected by Ontario's announcement to rip up contract with Starlink. How is Ontario Satellite Internet (ONSAT) Program feasible without Starlink?

yep. i can't speak to his mother but her father moved the family from Canada to apartheid South Africa in 1950. It seems Canada wasn't racist enough to raise his daugther who then raised Elmu in the same country. The only reason Elmu has Canadian citizenship is that he was born to a Canadian citizen

we can designate him Colonist One to Mars. while he's leaving, we can make Bezos and Zuckerberg Colonists Two and Three. They can return to Earth if they make it to their 100th birthday or their net wealth dips below 1billion.

On your way from the Acadian Peninsula, stop in Miramichi for Middle Island, Beaubear's Island, Wilson's Point and the Metepenagiag Heritage Park. We are the meeting spot of history & culture for four peoples: Irish, Acadian, Scottish, and Mi'kmaq. You will want to plan an afternoon at Metepenagiag

and if really want a New Brunswick experience, find your way to the Acadian Peninsula by driving north along the Acadian Coast. Caraquet is the Capital of l'Acadie. You will also find the Acadian Village, a historical recreation of the life of the Acadians.

While you're at it, stop at Potato World, in the French Fry Capital of the world. You could do both in an afternoon in your way to a night's stay in Fredericton. There, go see the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

for self-care reasons, I had avoided video coverage of the day. once i saw the video of Elmu, yes, that is definitely a Nazi Salute. not surprising from one born into the ruling class in South Africa in 1971. still not acceptable, but not surprising.

Just because a president can sign an Executive Order, it doesn't mean that the president is on the right side of history. Read 'First They Came' to self-reflect on the need to stand up and be a voice. And while you are at it, find out who was targeted by the first book burning in 1933 Germany.

The dream of Martin Luther King Jr has turned into a nightmare. Read 'I have a dream' to see the hope of MLK, on this day honouring him.

love that new characters are introduced and the first red shirt introduced isn't the first to die in a mission. and those colour-coded EV-suits are so cool. Can I sign up for the Federation to get one of these?
