Cutting employees from the FDA would be a terrible idea, although there probably is some “dead weight” that could be tossed. They need more employees and higher salaries, especially in areas like emerging tech. Unfortunately RFK Jr seems mostly bent on some sort of crazy “burn it down” strategy..

Trump's statements were false & abhorrent, but there is a problem with affirmative action at FAA. Starting in 2013 the FAA has substantially reduced the testing standards and level of training required to become an aircraft controller. There are much better ways to get a more diverse workforce!
