Murkowski urges Congress to "stand up" and assert authority if Trump withholds funding www.cbsnews.com/news/lisa-mu...

Elon Musk is now trying to flip the balance of power on the top court in one of the country’s most important swing states. Read @ariberman.bsky.social on the very high stakes in Wisconsin and the Tesla founder's plot to buy the state supreme court.

DOGE recommended firing workers at: -FDA, which oversees Neuralink -FAA, which oversees SpaceX -USAID, which probed Starlink -CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X. "Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

When NWS forecasters can't communicate with Canadian forecasters, things like plane accidents happen.

“The news comes after CNN reported that the Federal Aviation Administration fired hundreds of probationary employees who maintain critical air traffic control infrastructure.” Just playing games with our lives and DC polticos including Dem Leaders operating as if this were all normal. Cool. Cool.

'Panic' in Ukraine as leaked confidential Trump peace plan astounds The plan delivered to Zelenskyy last week would "amount to the US economic colonization of Ukraine, in legal perpetuity" and also "implies a burden of reparations that cannot possibly be achieved." www.rawstory.com/trump-ukrain...

Some federal employees who accepted Trump’s buyout offer are now being notified that their buyout has been denied, and they are being terminated instead.

🚨DOJ 🚨FAA 🚨FTC 🚨NLRB 🚨U.S. Attorney SDNY 🚨FWS All initiated investigations into Elon or his businesses. This is about revenge.

Sept. 2024: The FAA fines SpaceX $600,000+ for safety issues. Sept. 2024: Elon Musk publicly calls for the head of the FAA to resign. Jan. 2025: Trump is sworn in, with Musk as co-president. Jan. 2025: The head of the FAA resigns with years left in his term.

Show this to a federal worker and let them know how many people support and appreciate them.

Good morning Ppl! Since the comms blackout, the USPTO (patent and trade office) has been silent to inquiries. This is currently costing the Food and Drug industry millions in halted projects, development and product launches to name a few things this is fucking up.

Two thoughts: -It is darkly funny to watch a senator essentially vote to abolish the formal power of Congress and then humbly petition the new emperor for amnesty. -I expect we’ll see more of this as people suddenly realize how dependent red states are on federal largesse.

An important first-person account from someone inside OPM:

"The lawsuit raises concerns, for instance, that DOGE could access sensitive information within the Department of Labor, including workers' data as well as information on investigations by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) into SpaceX, Tesla and The Boring Company."

An unelected, erratic, ketamine-addled billionaire with far right/white nationalist views has taken control of the personnel and payment systems of the United States government. Not an exaggeration, not hyperbole.

When asked if he was going to visit the crash site he said, ‘what site? The water? You want me to go swimming?’ This is one of the last pics of the young skaters who died. He’s a sociopath. Anyone who voted for this monster should be ashamed at best.

And the gulf is growing wider.

Had an awesome time chatting with Jon Stewart & @weeklyshowpodcast.bsky.social talking about how to fight the dumpster fire. Gear up. It’s time to brawl.
