So this is the blatant lie to justify cutting anything good for average Americans - in order to deregulate businesses and avoid taxes.

cuts on what's good for the public. Think about that in light of massive cuts to disease research and pollution controls.
FACT: government spending as average percent of Gross Domestic Product has only changed by 2-3% since 1953 (taking out covid spike) & hovers around 20%
