This is the version with the long intro, but if we could all just be like that boy and turn into Dee Snider, maybe everything could be ok. youtu.be/V9AbeALNVkk?...

They can test you for the antibodies. Also, there was a period of time when much of gen x would have been vaccinated for measles where it wore off or there was a bad batch or something. I was vaccinated for measles but had to be redone as an adult. Ask your doc

I agree. It will take more than a day or a week for these huge companies to even notice. Let's pick a company or a few companies and get people to boycott them until there is change (or at least for a quarter to disrupt earnings). I'm boycotting several right now

I'm only buying products made in either blue states or other countries (or second hand, but not from the huge, chain thrift stores). This requires a fair amount of research, but it's satisfying to me.

Eat what you want and let others eat what they want. I've actually lost friends over the ketchup/hotdog thing. They put me down over it (as well as many, many other things) and I finally ghosted them. Just be nice to each other, whether over hotdogs or anything else. And fyi, I'm in Chicago.

Yeah, it was not fun. It goes away, though, and then you feel better than you have in a long time. I don't want anyone to be scared to give it up. After the first few days, you will be so glad you did.

Also, I used to drink diet coke every day. The first few days of giving it up were a little rougher than expected (raging headache, extreme craving). Wtf do they put in that stuff?

I have not had a coke product since Jan 16 when they gave the commemorative bottle to 🟠💩. I realize they give it to every president, but they seemed to give this one out with a little too much love and unnecessary fuss

I think these exact 3 words every day now.

I've been doing this since Jan 20. No Amazon, Walmart, target, coca cola products(and no coca cola for my business either) & of course no Meta, X, Tiktok. I'm trying to shop small wherever possible & researching all companies to see where they are based and where they donate.

I'm boycotting Meta, coca cola, McDonalds, X, Amazon, Walmart, and a local restaurant with a drump sign. I'm willing to go on a Ben & Jerry's, Canadian Maple syrup, and avocados from Mexico diet, but I think that might affect my health a tiny bit. Anyone have more companies to support or avoid?

I would love to have a list of what to buy/not to buy. I'm finding it difficult to even find a list. Lately I've been eating a lot of Ben & Jerry's. I would love to add Canadian &Mexican products to my list. I used to love Malkins Jam (in the cans) but can't find it anymore.

They also claimed that the new mattresses were "better and didn't need to be flipped". Also not true.
comment in response to post
Oh, I think I know the answer to this. I worked for a furniture store the year the handles went away. If I remember right it was Sealy that was first. Shortly after, they removed the padding from the bottom of most mattresses. They claimed nobody flipped them anyway, but, not true. There was uproar

I am happy to help. I would not only log in everyday, but I could post a short video every day too if needed. Of course I'm an android user and usually post content about vintage toys and other vintage items
