I still yearn for White Stripes.

I agree. I remember being on the other site and worried about how many followers I had. Seemed so important there. Not here. Life is too short.

Those are some of mine also, esp Lauren Groff and Tim O'Brien.

We have a yearling who grazes our neighbor's yard and the back of our yard. Lovely.

I can't seem to concentrate enough to actually write. Gotta make a change to find another way to escape the insanity.

Congrats!
BTW, I have that very same T-shirt. Was wearing it one day on a walk and two women cheered—they were librarians!

They can't comprehend that eventually SOMETHING the felon does will eventually affect them. FAFO.
Also, silence equals agreement.

Thank you for sharing it. I'm still sad about his passing, but this brought a smile to my face. So many musicians with such a lovely song.

they also are raiding meat-packing plants. I know TONS of Americans just waiting to work in the fields and plants.

And how do you know when it’s spoiled. It’s already sour.

Between him and Trump, how many people are going to die the next four years in the US? It's unreal how they have sent us back 50 years.

I was thinking of that today also.

Good job! My mother used to sew her own aprons and aprons for other people. I never got in the habit of wearing them.

How wonderful. When I was a kid we had a parakeet who had the run of the house. He was esp attached to one brother. The bird escaped through the door once and we were frantic. The one brother went outside and called him, and the bird returned. Amazing birds.

A cancer patient once told me (survivor of ovarian cancer, stage 3c) that "at least" their cancer wasn't "as bad" as mine. I shut them down. Cancer is cancer. Don't minimize your own by parroting what someone has told you. Cancer, no matter the form or stage, is scary and the treatments are harsh.

That song has been in my head since yesterday.

My husband still hangs the US flag outside our house. No government shitheads are going to decide what the flag means. For us, it means what it has always meant: liberty, freedom, compassion, IMMIGRANTS welcomed, etc.

Oh, in the shade of sunflowers 😿😿😿. So sad. We have a dog and he's keeping us from being too sad, but still. It's the missing.

Thank you. I have received love, compassion, and grace (I'm a woman of faith) and so pass it on to all.
And I really want a parrot.

We don't know because he was a stray we rescued. The guess was between 12 and 15. But it was just a guess.
