Tbh I don't know too much about bsky. But it is still venture capital backed though. In this industry that means we are the product that, at some point, will be used to make a profit. And they have the ownership over the protocol to do so, I think. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm pessimistic.

Damn, so this is how I learn about this. I already have to put up with the fact that I can only contact some relatives via whatsapp. I really hate how we have allowed venture capital to host almost all of our remote interactions. I swear it's only a matter of time until bluesky is burned too.

Have we now gotten to the point where they now actually use everywhere, but avoid using the term for marketing?

Running defence for a Genocide is wild. And a weak defence too. Y'all must really be running out of arguments.

My mood just changed from "it's funny how stupid this guy is" to "I'm angry about how stupid this guy is"

He is on top of the game right now. Seemingly effortless undisputed banter GOAT. Truly the Jokic of streaming.

So this is how I find out you can't save posts on here (?)

There's something about comment sections under political articles that makes them incredibly repulsing to me. To the point that I successfully suppress and forget they exist most of the time.

What an odd thing to say.

Good to hear, I guess. Maybe you know more than me, but I wouldn't touch this with a 10-foot pole. It still comes with his toxic community and a co-host that, from what I've seen, hasn't distanced herself from him at all. Lots of baggage you really don't deserve.

I'm honestly shocked you've been a part of the Destiny orbit. I hope you're putting some good distance between yourself and them. I would welcome some content with actual (preferably independent) journalists and expert guests.

Nah, no way. He's way to chill for that to happen. The man has cultivated a left leaning gaming audience without even talking politics.

Shitposting on Wikipedia is kinda cringe imho.

And other types of posts perform about the same? I honestly thought Threads is kinda dead. Never been on it and never will, though.

From my point of view, there was no way of "seizing power" for many people except for threatening not to vote (and probably doing it anyways in the end). Both parties rather cater to their corporate donors than to their constituents. It's an oligarchy.
comment in response to
post
Yeah, because democracy is having no choice but to vote for the same party even when it screwed you sideways multiple times over. Or, alternatively, not voting and having people blame each other instead of the actual politicians in power. Even if, in most states, those votes basically dont matter.

Intellectual property laws have been such a scam for humanity. It so often works against the interests of the individual these days.

Vegetarians get shit from both meat eaters and vegans, lol. There are annoying vegans, like with any vigilant activist groups. But it mostly has something to do with feelings of guilt, I feel. Iirc, @theabigailthorn.bsky.social likened her reluctance to go vegan to a form of phantasm for herself.
comment in response to

Sadly, most non-vegans feel the need to justify their choice one way or the other. I do love BE for his unapologetic activism, however. His take on vegans is similar to Hasan's and mostly dejection. I'll allow them to miss here because they really actually don't care about this.

It's further up in the thread.

Why he say fuck me for? My veganism is coming from the same place of love as my anti-imperialism. This is such a boring anti vegan argument. You're exactly proving Big Joel's point with this straw man argument.

Within their possibilities, it was probably the best they could do to help. They just consist of a couple of people trying to help. But yeah, considering the bigger picture, it's ridiculous.

An organization started equipping homeless people with QR codes for donations in Hamburg, Germany. I think I would rather go the extra mile and get cash instead of role-playing cyberpunk dystopia.

I hear ya, but it also usually needs drastic events like these to spark collective action. This liberal capitalism is surviving because it's only slowly driving everything to shit.

I am pleasantly surprised that the opinions on this online are pretty unanimous. The healthcare situation must teally be that bad, huh. Now I wonder if it changes anything about the gun regulation pushback from the billionair lead republican government.

I can highly recommend using a notes app, like Obsidian, for writing. Only works as long as you don't need to collab, but the workflow is immaculate.

The article doesn't talk about the likelyhood that a crash is fatal, but the likelyhood of a fatal crash overall. My guess is that Teslas just crash more often.

Is it just jacks with headers? I wonder if I could instead use one of those small 1U modules that are simply two trs jacks?

I have combined about 500 HP of modules in my cases. The most fun I've had lately was gathering a few of those in a 40HP case and jam with a DFAM and Chroma Console. Small cases rule.
I'm wondering, wouldn't you miss a clock in this one?
