When I picked up this book from a local library used book sale, the elderly woman behind the counter got really excited and talked to me at length about the Russian Revolution being led by the people, unlike the American Revolution that was led by colonial elites. 💯 📕

At 7-Eleven yesterday, a man was short on cash for his food. The clerk said, “you touched it, so now I have to throw it away.” As he turned to leave, I bought it for him. I don’t feel good though, just angry. Instead of letting him have a $2 taquito, the rule was to waste it. What a fucking country.
