If you count those that didn't vote in 2024 then that number is probably pretty close.

Ignoring the internal emotions behind the words.
Words are just sounds and everyone has their own vernacular. Judgement should be based on intent.

Sadly, what this will come down to is that the power interest groups have deeper pockets than environmental groups.
We need to prioritize power gen/use efficiency and diversification that minimizes impacts on our natural environment.

Circling back. I prefer Utah natural resources go towards improving the lives of Utahns first. 🙏

This is the stupidity/desperation of our supermajority red government: they want to be the center of attention and don't care at what cost it comes (sluts for attention).

I hope that thorough/robust hydrological studies are allowed to be carried out prior to any decision to move forward with development.
The expediting of projects typically "short-changes" environmental assessments.

Yes, I am quite familiar with the region. Unfortunately, water rights are not objective proof of an abundance of water resources (see Colorado River fiasco). Being at a hydro terminus in an arid climate is probably the worst place for large scale development like a 4GW power plant and data center.

Yep. There are many agreements and planned projects with tech companies to build power plants for data centers. Nuclear, traditional, and renewable resources are being exploited for private data centers instead of for public use. It's 🤬
