That’s a great idea! I love notes like that. Maybe I’ll get my kiddo to write it all cutesy.

It’s sweet, and it’s also kind of a mystery.

PB: A Little Like Magic is wintry and heartwarming. Rocket Ship, Solo Trip is cute and nails the tone for the target age. The Book That Can Read Your Mind my 6yo loved! MG: Olivetti is just plain fun to have a typewriter as a character. #kidlitchat

He might’ve already read them, but David Macaulay books are fascinating. Detailed diagrams of all kinds of buildings and machines.

Hi Jennifer, I’d love to be included. I edit MG, co-coordinate the EFA’s KidLit chapter, and contract with teen beta readers for MG and YA. Thanks!

Congrats! Can’t wait to see who the illustrator is.

I’m so sorry, Reina. I would need some time away from that book too. ❤️

I challenged myself to give a presentation (about résumés), and apparently it went well because I’ve been booked solid since. Did a copy + line edit for a lovely PB, contracted a few teen beta reads, and coordinated launch of the new KidLit Chapter of the Editorial Freelancers Assoc. #kidlitchat
