the thing about fighting games is that when you’re in a rut you can always pick up a new character. learning is fun and losing a lot you can always blame being new at it. Manon Streetfighter is pretty fun but i wish there was a ”pure” judo character in the game. or an aikidoka like Aoi in VF5.

Monster Hunter Wilds is pretty rough on an Nvidia 3070. only way to achieve a smooth framerate is to use AMD’s FSR w/ frame generation, funny enough. still looks blurry and mid it’s frustrating that the render tech bump just appeared overnight. this card is still valid for like 90% of 1440p gaming.

part of the ”did not meet expectations” dilemma is that it’s always the huge publishers beholden to stockholders and big time investors who are saying this. the simple solution of releasing more smaller games isn’t gonna work because those who fund these games also expect huge payouts.
