much love to foone. death generator has been my first port of call on many an occasion before, and i did check to see if streets of rage was on there when i set out to make this
least glamourous answer possible, I'm afraid. I took the pixel art ripped from spriters-resource, arranged the text using the font from the game and animated the whole thing in photoshop. then popped the gif into sony vegas to add the music and to render as a video
it was a bit clumsy of a way of doing it really, a ton of reconstructive effort that probably could have been done better with a different pipeline.
i might as well have edited the rom myself for all the effort i put in, maybe it would have been easier that way!
Oh damn! Well, I been meeting to learn Photoshop and Vegas more. I wanna make an intro for my anarchist TTRPG campaign, so those fools better appreciate the work I'm about to do. Thanks a ton!
When we deal with our fear and anger and pain and shame by projecting blame on others, we achieve a union with the satanic spirit accusation that produces a temporary catharsis, but also keeps us locked in our own self-imposed hell.

The police can handle one large rageful group. They can’t handle multiple groups of 2-4 players, especially if they know all the trash cans hiding roast chickens.
It totally was the inspiration for it, I'm not kidding there's videos all about the Streets of Rage soundtracks and Yuzo Koshiro's inspiration from dance hits from the late 80s to early 90s
Yes, bookmarks needed.
I hit the 3-dots, hit share, save link and copy onto a doc the things I absolutely need to save, also screenshot some.
But some people seem to just "repost" everything they want to find again, and that clutters up the feed - too many reposts
Scientists:
"fortunately we have managed to save a sampling of humanity in a self sustaining underground silo after the meteorite strike in 2032, we predict the surface will be safe to reemerge in or around AD 2101...."
This is strikingly on-point for the original game, almost like the original two posters were referencing it specifically. With some rewording (i.e. less jargon), I can imagine it being incorporated into that game's opening monologue.
If your Rage results from Structural aspects of Society, a thing Humans made that way on purpose, and maintain at some effort, then it is not really YOUR Rage at all, but part of the Operation of the System. The part that Corrects Error.
And it has Chosen You as its tool.
Is that the original music? Because the percussion sounds almost exactly like Sadeness Part 1 by Enigma. I think. Or possibly the dance remix of Tom's Diner. Did the 90s only have one drum routine?
@yuzokoshiro.bsky.social said he spent a lot of time meticulously reproducing both the sound and even the rhythms of classic drum machines for this score, so likely it was some preset rhythm, to be authentic to the genre. :)

I'll have to look into adding it when I get a chance

I wonder what would have happened if someone responded back with the famous statement in SoR2: "Only Trust Your Fists, Police Will Never Help You."
