Most of them hold conservative worldviews, even if they outwardly pretend to be inclusive and tolerant of others. It’s all a facade.

Additionally, the adult themes and moral dilemmas faced by the Jedi were likely too much for some Star Wars fans to handle. However, it's interesting that the Emperor's energy efficiency initiatives are considered perfectly acceptable.

I don't have to agree with every single policy decision but I honestly do think Gavin Newsom would have won the primary after Joe Biden. Like him or not, he has appeal.

True but I like how he fights. I would also vote for the Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Michigan, or Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. I'm just tired of the regular Democrat types we have been electing. I want someone who is going to say this is what we are going to do, and I don't care what you think (GOP).

I have lived in San Diego, California for 8 years. Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor at that time, and then Jerry Brown (where is that guy). I get the hate he receives but I like his style.

He's a fighter, and you may not like his style of politics, but like Trump, at least he's our psychopath, and we need one of them desperately. We are losing on all fronts with our timid GOP-lite spinelessness too afraid of embracing liberalism candidates.

So true, but all the Democrats like this are fighters. The base and Democrat establishment hate them. I'd vote for Gavin Newsom in a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, only white people think they can claim self-defense over literally anything. Be well.

I felt compelled after seeing dozens of Facebook pages dedicated to smearing him and spreading misinformation about him and his family. Also I can post anything I want and you can block me.

I'll wait to hear the evidence before I make a judgement. Due process.

Block me. I don't care.

They only care about their Whitehouse access. Trump pacified the press in exchange for access.

Gwyneth Paltrow is about to sell a lot of candles wearing that outfit.

This made me chuckle.

You're making up stuff that never happened. So yes, you do have issues. Mentally unwell, even for a Bobby Kotick hater.

Musk's plans included using the shutdown as an opportunity to expedite these changes. Don't chop off your nose to spite your face, live to fight another day. Democrats need to win the House & Senate back during the mid-term elections to fight this sinking ship.

As for Elon Musk, during the recent government shutdown discussions, he reportedly supported the idea of a shutdown to advance his (DOGE) initiative. This initiative aimed to drastically reduce federal bureaucracy by firing non-essential federal workers and streamlining government operations.

Devil's advocate, the Democrats forced the government down. Republicans would've made them own it. They would have blasted all the airways & social media platforms blaming them. Although it may not have been a popular decision, it was the right one, and liberals often fail to see the bigger picture.

You have issues. It's obvious now. You have a great day.

If you are saying someone raped someone when they didn't rape someone, you are falsely accusing them of something they didn't do which hurts real rape victims. You have issues.
comment in response to

Since I'm illiterate help me out and post the exact paragraph where it mentions Bobby Kotick raped someone. Otherwise, you're a liar and slanderer!
comment in response to

I didn't claim they held any power, but the Senate Democrats I mentioned willingly conceded demands from Mitch McConnell because they came from red states. You won’t see any Republican senators doing the same unless they hold unsafe seats.

You're the type of person who falsely accuses people of stuff. That makes you worse than Bobby Kotick.
comment in response to
post
You're the one who cannot read. I read it three times, and it doesn't mention him raping anyone.
comment in response to

This article you posted still doesn't reveal any accusations of Bobby Kotick raping anyone. It talks about him being a shitty person and a flight attendant on his private jet that was being sexually harassed by another worker (not Bobby Kotick), and firing her for complaining about it.
comment in response to
post
Feel free to publish the article accusing him of rape. Such accusations do not exist! If he were the accused - the victim could file a counter-lawsuit. You're slandering someone to prove a point without proof or evidence to the contrary, which is insane to me.
comment in response to
post
You're trying your best to defame someone with false allegations, which is ironic as we are discussing a defamation lawsuit.
comment in response to
post
No reports are indicating that he was accused of raping anyone. The accusation against him is that he was aware of employee misconduct & kept it from the board. If true, he will lose his lawsuit & look even worse. He would unnecessarily subject himself to legal scrutiny by filing this lawsuit.
comment in response to
post
The allegations were against employees, and not Bobby Kotick himself. This sort of rhetoric is how you end up being sued for defamation.
comment in response to
post
That's a no for me. I hate Kokatu more than Bobby, and I hope Bobby destroys them. That would be a contribution to humanity in my eyes.
comment in response to
post
That's for the courts, jury, and evidence to decide. Usually guilty people dont open themselves up to further scrutiny.
comment in response to

There are no winners here because the outlet and him are deplorable, but he has to have some confidence in his defamation claim because of discovery.

I would never support Kotaku in any situation, not even if it means going against Bobby.

I find myself having less and less in common with people that I thought were like-minded. I am finding myself in total disagreement with liberals and conservatives alike. This site is going to turn me into an independent.

Sometimes it feels like the world is burning - while most people ignore it. I've also noticed that fandoms aren't as different - opinion-wise. At least, I appreciate that there aren't constant discussions about wokeness and DEI. Moderation is the only upside to Bluesky.

I do like it better but Im starting to find it to be the polar opposite politically & it's eye-opening to see liberalism distilled. Im a long-life Democrat & I am beginning to see why Republicans don't like some of our thinking. Everyone thinks they're right on this site & demand compliance.

This allowed Mitch McConnell to make demands cause of those two Senators who were afraid of being primaried in deep red states. You forget a lot of democrat seats aren't as safe as Republicans.
comment in response to
post
You're also forgetting when Democrats had a majority in the Senate in 2022. They had a slim majority 51-49 and Senators like Joe Manchin and Kristen Sinema royally fucked the Democrat party. Republicans don't have that issue with their caucuses.

You can live in your delusion but America is a Republic and majority rules and right now Republicans have the majority. Period.
