In Iowa (Reynolds) and Nebraska (Pillen) it's the same story. They hold public education funds hostage until the legislature passes vouchers. Both have red supermajorities. They wage War on Republicans that oppose and make sure they're primaried. It's the MAGA / Project 2025 playbook.

Do you know the Herzog Foundation? They represent a Missouri family worth close to a billion dollars. They send taxpayer money to private religious schools and they don’t like anyone who stands up to them. Not one single dime of taxpayer money should go to private religious schools.
