Can’t think of another meme that has aged as well as this one.

Both, I think. He really is that stupid, AND he'll do whatever Putin tells him to do.

We should spend less time worrying about migrants and more time worrying about the rapist and convicted felon in the Oval Office.

It’s like letting SkyNet take over. It and Musk have about the same level of concern for the well being of humans.

Trump’s cabinet appointments belie MAGA’s whole meritocracy argument. Most are hopelessly unqualified. Then there is the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Trump replaced a black man with impeccable qualifications and a storied record of service with an obscure and under-qualified white man.

And then we have you refusing to believe Biden’s policies were responsible for growth despite the fact that the U.S. economy outperformed those of its peers and despite the fact that this performance can be explained by Biden’s policies.

The rubes also falsely credit him with superior economic performance when, in fact, he did nothing to improve the economy during his first term. Reagan, Clinton, Obama and Biden, however, did take affirmative steps to successfully spur job growth.

I don’t know if you’re deliberately being obtuse to waste my time or just need me to speak more slowly. Trump convinced the rubes to vote for him by promising he would bring prices down when he knew he had no plan or even idea how to do so.
comment in response to
post
Presidents can’t do much to influence prices, but they can do things to influence economic growth and job creation, as FDR, Reagan, Clinton, Obama and Biden have all shown. Reagan was the last Republican to leave the overall economy in better shape than he found it, however.

There was nothing inevitable about the Biden recovery.

My point is that Trump takes credit for such things with the rubes. For all his talk there is zero evidence that he has ever done anything to improve the economy. Biden, on the other hand, inherited a disaster and turned it around. The country lost 227,000 jobs in December 2020.

You see the little squiggly line that rises from a low point at the end of Obama’s second term/beginning of Trump first term, rises through most of his term, and collapses after Covid hits? Yes. That’s exactly what I said. Trump got low gas prices the same way he got his wealth: he inherited them.

There were actually fewer jobs created in the first three years of Trump’s term than the last three years of Obama’s. Even gas prices, which MAGA likes to brag about but over which presidents have little say, were lower at the end of Obama’s presidency than they were at the end of Trump’s.

Now, tell me what Trump did on the economy his first term. He inherited the longest stretch of uninterrupted private sector job growth in history and already low inflation from Obama and then just coasted and took credit for that economy until Covid. Then he promptly drove it into a ditch.

What Biden didn't do but Trump DID was promote conspiracy theories and vaccine skepticism, denigrate scientists, promote quack "cures" or lie to the American people about the danger posed by Covid because he was afraid the truth would hurt his reelection chances.
comment in response to

See American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, CHIPS Act, etc. Most importantly, Biden had a plan to get vaccination shots in people's arms and get the country open and the economy moving again. All Trump did was fund a crash vaccine development, something ANY president would have done.

Facts are facts. The U.S. outperformed every other advanced economy post-Covid. There was nothing inevitable about that. And fuck you for calling me “foolish.” I’m really sick you low-information assholes going around insulting people who are smarter than you.

In short, Biden rescued the country from the deep, deep hole Trump left it in and restored honor and respect to the presidency.

That’s like me saying I’m going to call you Sarah because I feel like it. It’s disrespectful and childish. Yes, I do. Biden oversaw the best post-COVID economic recovery of any G-7 country, posted the best job growth of any one-term president and rallied NATO to resist Russian aggression.

I doubt he’s crying. But those who are weep for their country, not themselves. Trump is destroying everything good about America and turning us into an international pariah. It’s painful to watch if you love America. But really easy if you don’t give a shit.

Trump’s vote totals don’t change the facts. He ran on lies, and his policies are mostly based on lies too. He won because gullible people believed those lies. The truth doesn’t change just because it’s unpopular.

Trump's on a mission to destroy anything good in America and has been emboldened by suck-ups like you. Grow a spine or quit already. As it is you aren't doing your state or the country any good right now. Also, stop slandering Biden. He's a better man than you'll ever be.

Calling what Canada and Mexico agreed to “concessions” is misleading. They were sops so Trump could save face. They stood up to the bully, and he chickened out and backed down.
