Pulled apart a thrift shop old framed mirror to clean up and use and in the process found a very good painting on the board backing behind the mirror- still following leads to work out who may have painted it - exciting!

Do a google image search and artist name search if you can find one the to make sure you don’t have a long lost masterpiece before you do anything to it. You never know as some really valuable items turn up in thrift shops sometimes 🤞

Is it painted on paper or board?
If you really love it or think it may be worth something you might want to get a professional art framer to look over it.
They will be able to replace the mat and spruce up the frame. Or you could give it a go yourself.
