I confess, have never used Twitter. Seemed dangerous. Sticking my head out now to find people who think and/or say clever things.

Had to import S2 on Blu-ray. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

I decided to check out book one and am quite impressed. Astonishingly well written from the first line, "The children were playing while Holston climbed to his death"

Fallout vibes.

I'm one that likes to read the book after the movie, if I hear about the movie first. I may check it out.

I was wondering about that too. And how, in the opening credits, they make the central staircase look like a double helix 🤔

Then when you get to S2E1, watch it at night. The darkness goes to a whole new level. Still good though.

Either that, or do some more of that cutting between timelines and locations for more background. Instead, there was a good deal of fumbling around in the dark.

So far, episode 1 sounds great. But it couldn't tell you what it LOOKS like since it's dark as a silo. Watch it at night with the lights off. Still it's a good start.

First "cartoon" I ever saw where a main character died, and didn't come back. Blew my little mind.

Is that so? Pure speculation on my part, but AMC never aired S2, probably giving up the regional rights (why it shows up in Asia). A lot of AMC+ titles are showing up on Netflix now, so S2 may not be part of that deal and needs to be acquired separately. However they get it, people need to see it!

I imported the Blu-Rays from China, I needed to see S2 that bad. Worth every penny. Not sure if it will be on Netflix. But it wouldn't make sense without it. (Not that streaming service decisions always make sense.)

The animated series Pantheon, which evaporated from AMC+, is set to debut on Netflix soon. To me, it's an astounding show I would recommend to anyone, animation lover or otherwise.

You don't know me and I don't know you. But what you said and how you said it was the coolest thing I've read here all day. Thanks.

An interesting perspective. Managed to call out some assumptions I didn't realize I had learned/accepted. May check out the book!

A much more insightful article than the headline suggests. Thanks for sharing!
