I felt the same way. Yikes. But I was never a fan. But their voices are shot. It was actually cringy.

I love the song and both suggest we're amazing, but it was a harsh arrangement.

We already know that America can't stay out of other countries business.

I hear you. I have a boat with $1000 worth of supplies for projects that I may or may never get to.

Perhaps you should make you subject more clear. I've answered your questions.

Agree. Get away from pop. Real virtuosos live elsewhere.

Overcompensation by the NFL. This too shall pass.

I have no idea why you bring Trump point this. I'm an Independent with few left or right strong opinions. You shouldn't be so hung up on color. That will drive you crazy

Why is it important to have a band that charts now? Personally, I consider rap to me poetry, not music. I didn't know any hip hop. Btw, there are multiple charts. I don't care about mainstream charts. I get on Blue sky perhaps a couple of times per day and respond when I can.

After hours of viewing the Westminster Dog Show, I'm feeling similarly.

By the way both of those bands have been albums within the last two years.

I would choose Harry Styles for a current act, or a few from the emerging country/ rock crossover pocket such as Noah Kahan, Teddy Swims, Hozier, Chris Stapleton, shaboozy. Right now the top choices for commercials are Classic Vinyl. They would be more universally appealing choices.

I have no idea. They had residency at the Sphere for several months.

Again with the racism accusations. I have no opiinion on the message other than the half time celebration should be for fun and entertainment only. Instead of become an outlet for grievance.

I listen to new Alt Rock. Your use of the word "literally" is literally incorrect.

I went to see U2 at the Sphere. Great concert. No political, or grievance BS

By the way how is Bono problematic? My dream band at the Superbowl with be v Red Hot Chili Peppers. They are fun. Nothing serious on a fun day

It had nothing to do with a Black man. You are jumping to conclusions. Prince put on the best show that I've ever seen. I'm out off by protests when I'm trying to have fun. Your junk on the racism bandwagon is like being wolf. Chill.

It was his act that was alienating. I don't particularly care about his credentials to talk or his color

Did you have to do homework to understand Princes master performance at the Superbowl. How about getting back to fun?

I don't like country either. There is no underlying reason for it.

Batiste was wonderful. Class act

It's alienating when an artist chooses material that their audience can't relate to. The assignment for an artist performing for a national audience should include an attempt to have universal appeal. Prince was such an artist. As was U2.
comment in response to
post
It's not current music. It's current rap. It's a far cry from other genres such as current Alt Rock.
comment in response to
post
There are more people in the TV audience than the stadium. I find it illogical that you believe that anyone who dislikes rap and can understand it must only like the has been, Kid Rock. What's that about?
comment in response to
post
It was a national audience. A performance based upon an esoteric backstory is self indulgent.
comment in response to
post
You're jumping to conclusions. Apparently the back story in one that you would only know of you're a fan. A performance on a national stage, should be off universal interest. Prince understood that. As did U2 and Bruno Mars.
comment in response to
post
But no one knows what he said. It was like an inside joke or something?
comment in response to
post
He understood the assignment to play music for a national audience. He was sublime. I should have played that back instead of watching what's his face.
comment in response to
post
So you could understand him? That was not entertainment for a national audience. It was alienating since apparently it was a bit of an inside joke.
comment in response to

I felt alienated by his performance. I was also bored. It lacked energy.

It was a bit much. It loses credit when it dies that far over the top, but I wouldn't say shutting to here when she is down. I hope that she removes it until she can compose herself.

You need to force yourself to listen to it at the way through. Then it will be gone. The same thing happened to me with the song Reminiscing that was sung during a cruise ship Karaoke.
