I think there's a Bowie song about this.

I'm trying to avoid this, but then it comes through anyway.

This movie is the greatest exercise in tension that I have ever watched.

I recommend going in the summer, as it can get quite cold there.

I feel seen (re: Mercyful Fate).

I mean the vocals are pretty bad and the lyrics have not dated well at all, but the riffs. And Holt and Hunolt are fantastic. Both mixing the off kilter leads of Slayer with actual melodic, technical approach a la Hammett.

And the Delta crash in Toronto likely isn't either.

I'm sad to see all of the hate for Bonded By Blood.

Cute that they think there might be future elections.

A lot easier around where I live (Toronto), so that is pretty impressive.

Maybe they're just taking your name too literally?

As long as you don't discriminate against Canadian bands.

We all suffer for our art. Some just do it in the most boring fashion possible.

I guess that's one way of looking at it.
BTW, I picked up this Kyuss album because of your posts on them and think it's great. I think I passed on them in the '90s because I thought (and still think) that Thong Song was terrible.

The low end on those VH amps is the best.

I miss my Hiwatt 50w and Peavey 5150 though...

Big fan of NMA. a solid album for a band into their 4th decade.

It could force the governors of states that do a lot of trading with Canada to complain about lost jobs to the guy. And they could get traction.

Most of my 'music' dreams are not finding my guitar cable or not knowing the songs.
I did have a dream where I was asked to drum for Metallica, and just before the gig I said 'but I'm not a drummer'. They said to me that they didn't think anyone would notice. I did a Lars joke in my sleep.

When someone asks you about your dreams, they usually mean stuff like 'I want to be a successful musician' etc. Not the weird stuff.

I quad track my rhythm guitars on my non-Dichroma stuff (where we each double track our rhythm guitars). For heavy stuff, it's the way to go even if it takes more time.

I went there just after it opened. Didn't know you needed to buy tickets in advance and pleaded in my poor Japanese to let me in because I had travelled all the way from Canada to see it. And they did.
They don't do that anymore.

Agreed, but politics over the past couple of decades looks to be a long race to the bottom.

You need to get a lot of buy in for strategic voting to work.
