I have a Portuguese tutor. He’s going to Porto next week. Tried to say in português I was jealous. He looked at me funny. He explained the Portuguese consider jealousy a bad emotion. They don’t use expressions like that. Instead you just say someone is lucky. Or, good for you! É muito bom.
