I don't keep up with video game news and announcements, save from what my very short-range radar is able to detect. What games are you playing right now? Which ones do you look forward to playing this year?

(1) I have long wanted to translate this 1997 interview with Keita Amemiya concerning the production of Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari. I did my best to maintain the format in which it is presented in Enix's 1997 artbook "Picture Imagination Book". archive.org/details/keit...

For the 60 odd years that Japan has been producing electromechanical and electronic arcades, home consoles, PCs and handhelds, only a handful were marketed with a Japanese name, instead of an English one as per the norm. Many of these systems remain unknown, even to the most avid players. Curious? 🧵

I'll play this game. Or as much of it as you'll like.

Easily one of my favourite creations from the Game Yaroze forge Sony built, now payable in English. You may not remember it, but Wonder Trek was part and parcel of Sony's peace offering to appease Japanese PSN users in view of the disastrous service's outage in 2011. Kudos to the fan translators.

On the one hand, displaying it in this manner lamentably conditions the enjoyment of its discovery within the game. On the other hand, it may compel viewers to right the terrible wrong Brandon correctly pointed out.
