Solidarity with all trans, non-binary & intersex people facing the harsh and ill-considered guidance issued by the EHRC. It’s full of holes & has clearly been written without input from trans people. I will push for this to be withdrawn until thought-out guidance can be produced.

This morning @greenparty.org.uk has called for the EHRC’s harsh and ill-considered guidance on single-sex spaces to be withdrawn. As it stands the guidance puts trans people at risk of discrimination & violence, and clearly hasn’t been drawn up with trans people’s input. I’ll be pushing for better.

If I ever became a manager. I would interview people in a way that- was informal, two way conversation not an interrogation, and let conversation flow. You can't judge if that person is a great fit for the company if they are in 'robotic interview mode' or worse 'nervous wreck mode'.
