Yes, you have mentioned they're all great, but Calandara specifically usually not seen as a cute character. She doesn't have cute eyes, and always puts up a serious like face. So it's kinda surprising to find someone sees Calandara cute.

Thank you Fireball

I am also a fan! Oh, Calandara's eyes work like Spiderman's eyes, so it's kinda permanent...

Oh really? That's new

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I think the skirt feels a bit too long to cover the knee... the wrinkle around the hand is also lacking. I appreciate the comment. Usually, the OC posts are overlooked, so it means a lot to receive the feedback!

I just don't post it to the main... I can't bear the reaction of the people, the threads of political arguments. But it is what I felt and makes me shiver all night thinking about it, when the wars started. I felt better when I poured my feelings into an artwork. To know Miku would feel sad too

I am sorry to say that I am not strong enough for the backlash... The last work that was intended for peace got backlashed too, so like this 'Miku and Nukes' artwork depicting the condition where some people are crazy enough to press the button, makes Miku really sad... the end of the future

Ah... I want to draw Poke girls. Some of the blue archive characters' designs are really inspiring, and I wish to draw them too. I also want to draw the story for the rest of the random girl series. Only to realize that making these Miku arts takes a lot, so I don't have time for others.

But yeah, drawing other characters gives me more motivation to improve! After all, only drawing blue hair blue-haired blue-tie is kinda... repetitive. However, it pushes the creativity side, so the energy is more on expanding the context. That's why the changing style and crossover happened.

Social Media is a dangerous game. I treat posting on social media carefully. Even some of my Miku artworks still never been seen by people if there's a chance of triggering someone. I draw Miku a lot because Miku is a bridge for ideas, and people easily perceive ideas if they come from Miku.

I will try to keep reminding myself about that. Thank you for being supportive! I am glad to see the Miku ride is potentially still far from over ✨ I guess that's the pro of open-ended character.

Oh, that's the time when I became obsessed with Miku too. Interesting... Also, thank you for the kind words!

I am glad to hear that people are less likely to get bored with Miku, though. That means I still have the chance to master the path of being an illustrator, drawing the character I love.

That's the thing! I am not happy when I can't draw Miku... I wish I could draw Miku all the time, but in reality, that's not possible. I still need to keep in touch with life, especially the financial side. I tried to walk the work and hobby path, but my health and skills were at risk on that...

Not essentially bored, but more on the survival side. Let's say nothing will improve if I only draw Hatsune Miku. Therefore, drawing other characters is important to keep drawing skills in check. Though... I just never uploaded them or uploaded them somewhere where Miku isn't the main spotlight.

Got it! Thank you for sharing your insight. It really helped me gain more confidence with my art. I am honestly surprised that the take from everyone here is really in a positive manner rather than generalizing the whole fanbase. I really appreciate the supportive response!

Yeah, I wondered from your perspective... Aren't you getting bored with how I draw Miku all the time? I guess a little branch out is a good refresh button for a while.

I thought since there were a lot of artists making inappropriate fan art, I might get in trouble for posting Blue Archive fan art on social media.
comment in response to post
I thought Blue Archive had a bad public perception... Looking at the comments here, I guess it's just my imagination. I love the game, the characters, and the story... I know the community can be too extreme with the fan art, but I genuinely enjoy the game.
