An aspect of the graphics discussion often lost is that CRTs were superior to modern TVs in perceived image detail/cohesion. OG pixel art, in many cases, wasn’t supposed to look pixelated. Modern TVs are more clear/practical, but require higher resolutions and fps to look clean.
