Physically Based Rendering - I'm not an expert, but it's basically a 3D rendering paradigm or formula. A way of describing surfaces (aka materials) with number values that determine how shiny/reflective/etc it will be.

The way the stock market and capitalism traditionally works just won't allow this to happen.
