Reading a famous japanese mystery novel written in 1946. Apparently this author, Seishi Yokomizo wrote 77 books in this series. SEVENTY SEVEN! Eat your heart out stephen king

Not to mention the fact that he's being charged with second degree murder rather than first degree murder. In other words, not pre-meditated. What do we think? Were these murders pre-meditated?

I hear you, this is not enough. Only one of many actions that add up

Hey, the message is that the more people do this, the more people can be brought in. This is already larger than previous rallies

I’m not OP, but I’m guessing some good ol fashioned photoshop + stock photos

Physically Based Rendering - I'm not an expert, but it's basically a 3D rendering paradigm or formula. A way of describing surfaces (aka materials) with number values that determine how shiny/reflective/etc it will be. www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...

if they somehow make a superhuman intelligence and ask it to solve climate change (for instance) it will propose solutions unprofitable to a lot of rich people & they simply won't listen to it. or they'll type "give me a less woke solution" or something asinine. computer: make me richer

Ah, so a game can only be good if other people like it too

I think they look hip. The gameplay is really the hook here for me. Mimicking IRL ctf sounds intriguing

My library has games to borrow for free! Though they'll probably only get one copy of this game (if that)

I had no idea it was a thing until the HBO Watchmen series. I was gobsmacked. How did we not learn about this stuff?

The way the stock market and capitalism traditionally works just won't allow this to happen. If shareholder value and revenue is the only metric used to guide company decisions... then the first Tock flop would've ousted senior leadership and set back everything... way back in the GC days

Great points re disruption. No organization in the world is equipped to output such high quality at such sustainably low development cost with such broad, FAMILY FRIENDLY appeal. A disruptor would need to inject their brand directly into the brains of 100s of millions of adults-with-children

'Regex101 is indispensable. I love the dialects to help with the nuances in syntac between js, pcre2, and python'.replaceAll('\bjs\b', 'javascript') 😎

Great message that I agree with. But also: Boo! Hire a graphic designer! Learn Photoshop!

Yeah, that dude was definitely a bonafide psychopath. Getting elected governor and later being assistant secretary of state only confirms it.

If the the band is still “contemporarily relevant” then I like to imagine their performance in current times. However, if it is an artist from “history”, then I like to imagine a hypothetical tiny desk filmed in the past. Possibly in the group’s late-mid-era. Or maybe the late-early-era…

I like it when artists take the space into account by preparing sometimes unique arrangements of their music. I could see Mew making some interesting choices, that would be sick

Oh no! I've been trying to proselytize by sharing its message, but my reach is small. So here is Skin Deep & Skin Care www.youtube.com/watch?v=p61_...

Thanks this was hilarious. Haley’s “hear me out” and ben’s reaction lmao. Barely hinged stuff by the end. Holding on by a single “family friendly” thread. Jk we left that hours ago
