The man handed Jeff his white bag of food. "See you in the #starscape, brother." Then he walked away. Jeff closed and locked the door and took the food to a desk in one corner of the room, near a full height window and sliding glass door that led out to a small balcony. #vss365

I tend not to write to a target length. I figure the story will be however long it wants to be, so I'll just shepherd it there.

But what if it's really important that she talk to you about your extended warranty?

The man held out a pay pad. "Right here, my dude." Jeff tapped the gold stake card on it. "Busy night?" "People keep giving me money for food. It's a strange #enigma that nobody can explain." Jeff chuckled and added a generous tip. "It's one of life's great mysteries." #vss365

I got most of them right too. Long time listener, first time caller.

They literally call empathy a sin. This is the logical next step.

A Redcloak agent who intercepted and replaced the delivery man would have given themselves away by thinking Charlotte was a woman. It was a trick he'd kept to himself, rather than being a #guru for the Redcloaks, and right now that was a decision he was very pleased with. #vss365

There's not much that's genuinely 5* difficulty in it, but there's a LOT to do, so it's probably going to get 5* in the end. It took me over two hours.

It has been shared! Hopefully this will lead to an increase in solvers. I've immensely enjoyed both of your puzzles that I've solved, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Ah, so it's good. That's good to hear. 28 Days was fantastic. 28 Weeks was ...okay. Looking forward to this one when it hits streaming.

The man angled his head upward as if searching for the source of Jeff's voice. "Some dude named Charlotte? This part of town's weird, man." Jeff nodded and opened the door. He wasn't the #progenitor of the gendered name tactic, but it had proven to be foolproof for him. #vss365

And done! Wonderful puzzle. May I share it with my Adventure Hunt backers? dimono.ca

And I just realized that the antechamber rule also only applies to its own room, not the whole house, so there isn't a contradiction like I thought there was. Never mind! All good! 😂

I edited my comment in reply to your reply (you don't get emailed when someone does that, so I'm letting you know here). I think it makes a t in that box.

Posted some rule clarification questions on the LMD page. I'm looking forward to trying this one, and I THINK I know what the path roughly looks like after having written those questions, but there's a wrinkle.

Jeff set his body into a ready position, navigating the #liminal headspace between preparing to receive food and preparing to tear off an attacker's head if this man wasn't who he claimed to be. As the delivery man glanced at his watch, Jeff repeated, "Delivery for who?" #vss365

I've had flights like that before. Nat and I once got stuck in Austin for 5 hours because they couldn't find the right wrench to tighten something under a wing.

I can't conceive of a world where I don't recognize you on sight no matter what.

He found it beside the door and pressed it. A screen lit up on the door that displayed the person on the other side between two vertical #parallel lines. He was dressed in a plain green shit and jeans, and holding a white plastic bag that said "Chicken Spot" on the side. #vss365

That's how WCW approached it too. Eric Bischoff's thought process was "what is the opposite of a what a wrestling show does?" and then whatever the answer was, that's what he did. It worked out well for them for a while.

"Delivery for who?" he called out. The man didn't answer. Then Jeff remembered that sound from the rooms didn't reach the hall. It was private, but now inconvenient. He mumbled, "stupid sound #vortex," while searching for the button to allow him to speak to the hallway. #vss365

I think it's because the stuff we're good at we view as the baseline - it's just a thing we can do. I suspect that further reflection will reveal that the criteria we subconsciously use for whether someone is unintelligent are that they're BAD at the things we're good at - because it's the baseline.

I've been packing carry-on-only for decades. My tips: - Take only what you need to survive. Plan out what you'll wear each day and pack only that - no contingency clothes. - Travel sizes are amazing. - Wear your bulkiest clothes to the airport so they don't take up space. Have fun!

The dog raised its head from its spot next to Jeff on the bed. Then there was a knock on the door, and a strong male voice called out, "Chicken Spot." Jeff cautiously approached the door. It wasn't at all beyond the #realm of possibility that that wasn't a delivery man. #vss365

Then he hung up the phone and turned on the news. There wasn't so much as a #susurrus about anything he'd done today - not even the cafe explosion and Creeper were being reported on. "It seems the Redcloaks are keeping things quiet," he told the dog. "That's good for me." #vss365

Nope! They just happen to be the same digits, in some order.
