That hits home for me because I also like free markets, but I feel that there's a kind of Chandrasekhar limit for wealth. When too much wealth and power concentrate around one person, it warps everything around it in a negative way - the same way a massive enough star ends up as a black hole.

Damn. He was fantastic - I didn't get to actually *watch* a lot of Star Trek when I was really young, but somehow I had a lot of his Star Trek novels. Q-Squared, Vendetta, and I,Q hit at a really formative age and have been rattling around in my brain ever since. RIP to a great indeed.

Steroid use has always been very common. They were legal in the 70s, and they're not hard to obtain now. Actors have always used them - the one in your profile pic included.
