Elon Musk is paid TENS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to be the CEO of Tesla. What did Elon get done last week for Tesla?

If people were really just dying from chronic diseases then how come they weren’t dying from their chronic diseases until after March, 2020?

Just a reminder that the neither the U.S. Digital Service (which has been converted into DOGE) nor OPM has any legal authority to direct every single federal government employee to give them a job summary. Literally no such authority at all.

I hadn’t even thought about that. Incredible.

Dear OPM FOIA staff - Remember to preserve all of these email responses, as we will be submitting FOIA requests for this consolidated compilation of information on what the entire federal government did last week. Thx - FOIA community

So everyone who has PTO on Monday is going to be fired? Governance by surprise is stupid.

AZ AG Kris Mayes: Let’s talk about that visual of Elon Musk with the ridiculous chainsaw. I don’t think he’s ever actually used a chainsaw in his life. I don’t know what that was—some lame attempt to make himself look manly.

WYOMING: “Thank you, Madam chairman.” “I prefer ‘Mister’ chairman.” “Well you all voted preferred pronouns cannot be compelled speech.”

MUST LISTEN: A Republican veteran just checked Congresswoman Stephanie Bice for letting COLLEGE KIDS access sensitive government systems—including the ability to cut off veteran benefits. She had NO ANSWERS. Just straight-up LIES.

DOGE’s gaslight accounting is getting covered from multiple outlets. A sampling from just this week: @politico.com @bloomberg.com @nytimes.com @nbcnews.com

JEFFRIES: “we have no leverage” SCHUMER: *pulls out a lime and limply waves it around* BERNIE:

Illegally cutting cancer research and meals on wheels to pay for PR ads for themselves.

Here come the “town hall no-show’s”. #Wisconsin wisconsinexaminer.com/2025/02/21/r...

A deep dive into DOGE data discovers a disturbing directory of discrepancies, distortions, delusions, and deception. Dismal. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/21/u...

how is trump doing all these things. where is the parliamentarian

My new favorite drug is Republican members of Congress getting yelled at in their districts by constituents who hate Musk.

I am being told students (yall make me so proud) are covering up bathroom signs with hilarious cool art including ones advising people WHO CARES and JUST GO PEE but since I’m inundated with CPAC 2025 and other stuff at the moment, I’ll comment more after I figure out what is what exactly,

when you've (already) lost Larry Kudlow ...

So. It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year. I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

AOC: And he is running around because he thinks he got a bank account with a lot of zeros in it that it makes him some kind of super citizen. I don't think so.

A defining policy battle is about to come to a head in this country. The Republican budget will force everyone - especially Congress and the White House - to make plain whether they are prepared to harm the rest of us in order to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest.

“Shortly after Friday’s exchange, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced that it launched a Title IX violation investigation into Maine’s Department of Education and one of its school districts.”

Idiocracy was a documentary

BREAKING: The Associated Press sues three Trump administration officials over access to presidential events, citing the First Amendment.

About time…

Gov. Mills: I’ll comply with the state and federal laws Trump: We are the federal law. You better do it because you’re not going to get any federal funds. Gov Mills: See you in court

Hey. You should text/call/voice-note some friends just because. Don't just DM silly videos. Check in with them. We all need some genuine connection right now!

NEW: “The first nationwide database tracking misconduct by federal police officers has been shut down by President Donald Trump, the Justice Department confirmed.” Because who cares about accountability in law enforcement, amirite? www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...

Lawyers at Twitter are reportedly threatening advertisers to spend more money on the platform “or else” Elon Musk will use his connections with Trump to hurt their companies.

Garcia: The fact that the Trump DOJ now wants to silence members of Congress because we’re actually willing to take on Elon Musk is quite dangerous. It’s incredibly disturbing. But we’re not going to be silenced. We’ve got to push back.

Democratic Rep. Robert Garcia has published a letter sent to him by Trump’s Department of Justice threatening to potentially prosecute him for criticizing Elon Musk.

Again, on what damn authority?

Phoenix has always been hot. But it took until this week for police to include the dangers of pinning people on the pavement in their use of force policies. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Vw...

🗣️ @aoc.bsky.social out fighting for the people & federal workers: “Every day our job is to wake up and say ‘what can I do today?’ — There is no act too small. Every action matters.” 🇺🇸

"They're putting persecuted Christian refugees in camps in the jungle" sounds like something Glenn Beck would accuse the Obama administration of doing and yet now it's a pillar of the Republican agenda.

WATCH: “Finding the Money” With Elon & Trump fearmongering about the debt, it’s a good day to watch this doc (with @stephaniekelton.bsky.social ) — the way we look at our national debt is wrong. We are not broke. They are missing half the picture. Link: findingthemoney.vhx.tv/products/fin...

The Mississippi Legislature is NOT a "public body" and NOT subject to the Open Meetings Act under state law, a judge has ruled. That means a quorum of House Republicans will be able to continue to meet and make key legislative decisions in private. #MSLeg @nickjudin.bsky.social reports:
