They do, by asking the Democrats the hard questions while sane-washing Trump's verbal diarrhea. And avoiding unfair words like incoherent, feeble, racist, or fascist...

I protest it every chance I get. With my senator, everyone who'll listen. The Presidential election feels a bit too scary to waiver on. If Trump gets power one more time we will no longer live in a society that cares about what anyone thinks.

because voting for Trump will end it? Sorry, I think I'm missing your point. Yes, the bombings are horrifying and wrong, but I... I think I'm just slow and don't see where you want to go with this.

Why not both? But definitely the latter.

on the plus side, he didn't start talking about Hanibal Lector or the size of his crowds... he simply misheard the question...

You are standing on a riverbank. Elon Musk, JD Vance, and DJ Trump are desperately struggling against the current, and you only have time to save one of them before they all plunge over a waterfall. ENJOY THAT MARTINI while watching!

Ironically that was essentially my first thought... Hey @kenwhite.bsky.social - please schedule your next podcast on... err, well..., err, after..., err, I mean... daily until the election?

I'll wait for the NYT transcription. Likely "Trump lays out his case for Harris' culpability in assassination attempts"

Math is fun. Way too hard for pundits to grasp, though. It's much more fun to just make shit up 😁 Thanks for the important reminders.

he says "of character". Not "of good character". We can all agree that Hitler had a character, right? Blacker than hell, etc. That's what JD Couch is talking about...

I guess Histidine would capture it, but people tell me Phenylalanine is often more like it. Either way, definitel Threonine

This is the one single episode of bake-off that really made me mad. They had their fair number of week episodes, but that one is awful.

I guess as a middle aged "executive" in a Fortune 50 company I should be prime GOP target material...

Not in my circle of friends... But then again, given how outspoken I am about this stuff, not a lot of Nazis, err Republicans will acknowledge their thoughts about this around me, I guess.

I'm an immigrant. (white straight male, i.e., boring) I find it incredible that any immigrant, regardless of how many generations ago, would consider voting for these horrible people. Their pathetic need to find people to look down at. Sure makes me look down at them.

Their definition of Alpha Male sounds depressingly pathetic and lonely. They are hoping for the pity vote?
